Steps that could be implemented.

Close new registration for 1-2 weeks.

New members can't post for 1 week. (could just be a few days)

New members have to like 5 posts (could be 10, 15, 20) before they can post.

Daily post limit, or hourly limit.

These are a bit extreme, and not brilliant, but ...

It can be a little difficult to find updates at the minute with all these moron spammers but thankfully there was another amazing update to this story to enjoy today!

Tanya gave a very informative biology lesson to the room there and Taylor was a very good test subject :lol:

Lovely to see Jeepman writing again too. Very intriguing chapter to set up how much trouble and danger poor Willy is in. Can't wait for the next update!

I really hoped we had seen the last of it but sadly not.

I love the original story about Nathan but this is a really fun read too and great to see it back.

I really think that at least for now the forum needs to stop new members joining for a little while.

Yes it's extreme but the spam problem is getting worse and worse. Stopping new members being able to sign up at least gives us time to think of a proper idea to prevent it happening.

Having ran a phpBB before that got attacked the same way

1. Updating phpBB was VITAL. They specifically target older versions.
2. Setting new accounts to require email approval helped, but not much.

Taylor can't afford to get his underpants wet so it's probably best he takes them off. I just hope nobody steals them and leaves him naked....
