Pantsing and Stripping Forums

Another oddity, we now have this 'Atissia' actively posting spam as I type but that user name is not appearing a the bottom of the screen as an active user. Have they found another way around preventive measures ?

Edit: now gone, maybe a lag between them being booted and the posts disappearing ...

Yeah I don't get why for now just turn off new membership until this is all figured out, I know many have said the same thing, but at least it would slow down new accounts from being created.

It's incredible that someone would have this kind of patience and motivation to use sleeper accounts on a forum. I wonder if these are related to the same people who did this on NationStates.


Never ceases to amaze me how pathetic some people can be.

Imagine wasting your life setting up sleeper ...

Could just make it so users with less than 10 or so posts can't send links as a message.

Or users with less than 5 thumbs up can't message.

I do notice, however, that photo forums tend to have a specific sub category for AI generated images and perhaps we would need a sub board to avoid confusion ?


I second that well-thought out suggestion. AI should indeed have a sub forum for computer generated work otherwise this denigrates ...
