Several people hated the ending of this story. So I'm going to try an alternate ending or two.

ALTERNATE ENDING 1:

“Well, congratulations!” Tami looked at Becky. “You’ve survived the initiation, Becky! You’re now officially a member of Kappa Nu Tau. How do you like it?”

Becky blurted out, “You can take your Kappa Nu Tau and go to hell with it! Now get out of here, all of you!”

Mandy and Tami shrugged and left. Ryan turned and followed.

"No, Ryan!" Becky blurted out. "I didn't mean you! Please stay!"

Ryan turned and looked at Becky. His face was blank. He spoke.

"Yes, Becky. Me too. You're the one who got me into this nightmare."

"I didn't mean to," Becky wailed. "I didn't know this was all going to happen!"

"I warned you," Ryan said. His voice was starting to sound angry now.

Becky's eyes opened wide. "But I never thought they'd do this to you!" She put her hand on Ryan's arm. "I hated this, Ryan! Believe me, I hated it! They had me tied up to that chair by the window so I had to watch! I had to sit and watch while all those girls walked up to you, and put their hands all over your bare body, and took off your underpants, and . . . and played with your penis! And I hated when that carful of girls came and put you in their station wagon and took you off to . . . to . . .to wherever!" She paused for breath. "I hated it!"

"Yeah," said Ryan. His tone was clipped. "You hated it. Well, I wasn't too crazy about it either. Don't forget, I'm the one who got tied up and put on display naked, and got photographed in the nude. And heaven only knows how many girls are gonna see those pictures of me and recognize me! And then I was the one who got hauled off to that apartment by those girls! I was the one who got raped . . ."

"Boys can't get raped," Becky interjected.

"Oh, no? Well this boy sure was! And then on top of that, to be told that they gave me herpes!" Ryan stopped for breath, then went on, "I'm still not sure that was a joke. I'm going to get in and see my doctor next week. And, so help me, if he tells me I have herpes," he paused again, "if he tells me I have so much as even one little herp, . . ."

"Herp?"

". . .I'm gonna have someone in court so fast it won't be funny!"

"Oh, Ryan!" Becky sobbed, "I'm so, so sorry!"

"Yeah?" Ryan's voice was even more clipped. "Well, I'm sorry too, Becky. But if you don't have more respect for me than that, then, I'm done with you!"

Ryan pulled up the blanked over himself, turned, and walked out the door, leaving Becky sobbing.
