JamJanSandwitch's Stories -- Kalico: Naked in School, Dorothy and Natasha, and others

Post by KiTA »

I'm going to share this here, cause sharing it on the Wattspad Page she made her home at the end gets auto-deleted.

JamJanSandwitch did a series of ENF + MC stories about a small town called Hope Springs, that had the idea to undo the slow decay of the town by implementing The Naked In School Program, using Hypnosis to take the new exchange student girl and make her "play along" and generally give the boys a reason to not immediately move to a bigger city when they hit 18.

The story was originally on Yahoo Groups, a mailing list service that many of us remember from the mesozoic era of the internet. Many ENF and other authors were based out of Yahoo Groups, or ASSTR (which finally went to it's great silicon reward last year, it seems). I don't recall if she ever explained to me the reasoning behind not hosting it at ASSTR; I think there were copyright concerns, or something.

I spoke with JamJan a few times on Yahoo Messenger. This too, is a service that from the mesozoic era -- it was like a Facebook DM, but DMs was all they did. (Yes, I am being snarky, but given I had to explain to a zoomer what a CD was this week, I'm entitled.) I remember long conversations with her about her works on Y!M while I should have been sleeping during some extremely boring family vacations.

With Yahoo Groups dying, JamJan moved to Wattpad, a writing hosting service that I'm surprised didn't have any issues with stories about a high school freshman and her ever decreasing tendency to wear clothes. I suppose to a point the story was a slow burn and not smutty enough that they either were never made aware of it, never considered it dirty enough to do anything about, or simply never got to "the good parts" that would get her purged. We'll never know.

JamJan stopped uploading anything 5 years ago. Her last public comment that I could see was on Mar 26, 2020, looking deeper into her online activity I saw some activity a few days later, mostly what we'd call a blog talking about her fears about the pandemic.

She has never posted again. I emailed her a few years ago, and her Yahoo email bounced as inactive -- inactive means the email was not signed in to for 12 months. I promised myself I'd make sure to "share the tapes" as it were with her stories and Yahoo Group posts, since it's entirely possible I'm now the only person in the world that has them, if it was ever confirmed that she was no longer with us.

After 5 years, I sadly feel confident making that call.

I would ponder what we know about JamJan -- teacher, I think. Retired. Definitely from a small town herself -- but on the offhand chance she shows up this week sometime, I'd better not. But that itself would be an interesting hook for a story, would it not? A small town teacher, seeing the slow decay of rural life in America due to the increasing pull of the urban cities on the rural youth, deciding to use hypnosis and mind control to implement something like the NIS program to basically use the students to bribe the other students into staying in the area? "The city's nice but they don't have tomboy farmgirls streaking around the corn fields naked as a jaybird (or cute but maybe a bit slow farmboys stackin' hay wearing nothin' but an apron and gloves, if that's your thing), do they?"

Well, anyway. With that out of the way, I present to you, the JamJanSand archive: https://mega.nz/folder/1ocRzToL#vo852iTYhcFfDirvVRMtHA

Inside this you will find her Kalico story, in the original Yahoo Groups version alongside various notes JamJan uploaded, as well as the updated version on Wattpad, which is still online (but for how long). Included is also all the files and URLs from her yahoo group (downloaded as a huge archive) as well as every single post made to the Yahoo Group.

You will also find Dorothy at the Demonstration and it's sequel, Natasha and Dorothy, Psychology Lab Partners -- including 2 additional chapters or notes or what have you that were never publicly shared.

The hook about Kalico is that -- and I'll admit it's been upwards of a decade since I read it -- Kalico is a new transfer student to a rural school. She's a tomboy and a bit of a loner, but the school needs SOMEONE to head up their planned implementation of the Naked in School program. Their idea is that the Westermarck effect -- that's the tendency for childhood friends to NOT find each other appealing as dating partners, because we humans instinctively avoid dating family -- is what is causing their youth to flee, and using the NIS program will "shock" the youth into realizing that their cohorts are potential boyfriend/girlfriends. Their plan, once they discovered that Kalico was extremely susceptible to hypnosis, was to push the "rules" as hypnotic suggestions as well.

Dorothy at the Demonstration and it's sequel are about characters a bit older than usual for this board, but it's on brand. Dorothy was in a psyche class she is flunking out of and her concentration wavered -- because her professor was doing a lecture on hypnosis and she went under. He gave her the suggestion to strip naked and then discussed how she would justify it to herself before, during, and after the fact, and she very much does. She can't bail on the class cause if she does flunk it she'll be in danger of losing her scholarship or somesuch. This one is available on wattpad as well as the EMCSA, and it (alongside Freewill 504) helped twist my preferences towards a mix of ENF and MC. It's a very dry and cerebral little story compared to most on EMCSA, and typical of JamJan's writing style.

Anyway. I promised a few people I would share all these stories at one point, but it was proving hard as wattpad nukes URLs in comments. Understandable I guess. This forum is one of the last "Indian Outlaw Descendants" from that great era of the internet before the prudes and nannys won, so I figured it would be the best place to upload it.

Remember to tell your favorite authors how much you enjoy their works while you can. And if you're heavily online, make sure some people you trust know your real identity so in the worst case scenario your "internet friends" will have closure.
