ENF vs ENM. Which do you choose and why?

I am not an embarrassment fan. Many years ago, on another board, my stories were described as CNF, Confident Nude Female. My characters are quite happy to be naked. Indeed, it is often their friends who are embarrassed.

This is going to sound horrible but I am into both ENM and ENF for the same reason that I get turned on by the loss of what one thinks as only intimate to them and that others have no right to it and it's taken from them and the psychological devastation is So Forever. It gets me hard reading about someone stripped naked and seen against their will, completely humiliated where every intimate aspect of their body is not known by others who they interact with on a regular basis.

People have written to me on Reddit of their IRL moments of the worst naked humiliation imaginable that they had to live through and I really get off on them. Boy or girl.

Thanks for the poll, but I couldn't bring myself to register a vote. Like several others have said, forcing a binary choice between the two just doesn’t work for me. I've said this before, but in my writing I'm an equal-opportunity humiliator. Male, female, young, old (well, not too old—the mental image of a naked, aging body doesn't exactly get the juices flowing), gay, straight—they all work for me, as long as the humiliation is done well.

I wonder whether I'm rare. I am turned on by both, and for the same reason. For whatever strange fetish that turns me on, it's the loss of intimacy or intimacy "taken" from someone that turns me on. Perhaps this suggests many ENF topics are "One and Done" stories of only a single chapter.
The ENM topics I write tend to turn into mini-novels of multiple chapters.

Possibly there are more "Casual" readers of the ENF fiction, where the readers of ENM are more voracious in their appetite for such
material and read just about everything posted on that Forum.

I think that the real question is more complex and goes much deeper than the original asked question. Here are my thoughts:

A genuinely embarrassed naked male or female is always going to come with an element of distress on their part, and that is never going to be enjoyable for me - to experience or read.

If, on the other hand, the 'real truth' is actually a 'pretend' situation, then it changes it completely, it becomes more like a CFNM or CMNF situation for the naked person. It very much depends on what is actually going on in their mind too. Now that can be fun.

One of the respondents mentioned CNF, Confident Naked Female (and there is Confident NM too). Now, that is another whole barrel of fun too! In this situation, the clothed person can actually be the one who is embarrassed.

I was once a genuine ENM when I met a CNF. She turned me into a CNM.
