Generally the pantsing was a bit of fun, most boys would grab the bottom of your shorts and swiftly pull them down, leaving your underwear exposed. A bit embarrassing but nothing too bad. It was easier to pants boys in their P.E gear as no one would be wearing a belt, and the material of the shorts was very light.
There were a few boys, however, with a more sadistic streak. They preferred to hook their thumbs around the waistband of your shorts! With the hope that, if they were skilled enough, they could also pull your undies down too. Very rarely was this move attempted, and even more rarely was it actually successful.
There was an unspoken understanding amongst the boys that to ‘fully pants’ someone was going too far. If a teacher found out about it, you could probably get in a lot of trouble. I’d only ever seen it done to a couple of boys, that was until it happened to me. (Sort of)
I wasn’t really a fan of the pantsing craze. Being a preteen I would generally try to avoid any form of embarrassment. But it was quite funny seeing a boy completely surprised by being pantsed. The quick look down to confirm what has happened, only to see their pants are around their ankles and their underwear is on display for everyone. Then the awkward bending over to hoist them back up. The possibility of being a victim of a full pantsing, however, filled me with anxiety.
The boy who picked me as his unlucky victim was a bit of a serial pantser. I was often looking out for him during the crazes, just in case he came my way. But he generally picked boys he was friends with, and we weren’t friends. I’m not sure why I was chosen, maybe because I was a quiet and reserved boy, and the idea of me being in distress was entertaining to him.
It was an ordinary lunch time and I was vaguely aware we were in a pantsing craze. My friends and I were all standing in a circle in our usual spot chatting about something I don’t remember. When everyone went quiet for a second I should have known what was happening. They had all noticed the serial pantser sneaking behind me, crouching down, and getting his hands into position.
As soon as I felt his thumbs hook around my underwear waistband, my legs shot together, desperate to keep hold of any dignity I could. He had pulled my shorts and undies partway down my thighs exposing my pale bottom (which he saw up close), my upper pubic area, and the very top of my penis.
Thankfully most of my wiener was saved from exposure by my fast clamping thighs. I think if he tried, that boy definitely could have pulled my underwear down further, but that little bit of resistance from my leg lock was enough for him to back off. That being said I was still hugely embarrassed. On top of having my ass exposed (to the one person behind me) there was something else I was very insecure about. I had recently started growing pubic hair.
I didn’t have much, but the sparse collection of brown pubes was unmistakable, and now on full display for my middle school friend group. There was a chorus of laughter as I hastily whipped my shorts and undies back up. I can still remember my face burning with humiliation but I tried to laugh as well to cover it up. The pantser scampered away giggling, and a few friends clapped me on the shoulder as if to say ‘it’s all in the game, you were a good sport’.
In hindsight, I probably didn’t have to be too embarrassed about my pubic hair. Looking back in terms of puberty development, I think I was on the same track as most boys: not too early, not too late. Those boys probably all had the same situation going on downstairs that I did. But nobody ever talked about it. We didn’t have mandatory showers for P.E, like I’ve heard other schools had, so it was pretty rare I saw boys my own age naked.
Our sex-ed class only covered the basics of reproduction, not much to do with puberty. My parents did offer advice but I was too embarrassed to listen, so most of my puberty education came from the internet. I think I had a fair bit of ‘puberty shame’ if that’s a thing.
I was quite mad my friends hadn’t warned me, but generally there was some unspoken agreement amongst the kids that you didn’t warn someone who was about to be panted. I think it’s possible they were all also insecure in their bodies and didn’t want to ruin what could be a chance to fulfil their own curiosity. To be fair, if it had been the other way around, I would have sat back and watched. I was curious about my friends too
That exact thing had already happened, so it’s possible I got some karma. I’d seen a boy getting fully pantsed while we were getting changed for P.E once, and I didn’t warn him. He didn’t have fast clamping thighs like me so his whole hairless dick was exposed. This was about a year earlier, though, before most boys had started puberty.
At this point in my life, I had shed a lot of my modesty. When I went to my local pool I’d use the communal locker room instead of changing in a toilet stall like I used to. So I was getting used to people seeing me naked. It was quite easy in front of strangers, I found, and I’d decided on a few friends who I didn’t mind being naked around, in those situations. But that was on my terms, getting pantsed was different.
I didn’t stay friends with most of those guys as we grew up, they tended to be a bit judgmental. Which is I think why my early pubic hair exposure stung so much, I knew what their thought process was like. Looking back now though, as someone very into ENM, I’m quite glad to have this experience, and I’m even more glad to share it!
