Well, there is “poetic license” even though the boys were mostly kept at a distance. Even for this ugly mob it might have been too much to have any boys or men touching the naked girl.

I've just found this other video that has a bit more set after the first one. It's of the town simpleton, Michael, finding Rosy's clothes strewn around, and realises what's happened to the woman who was so kind to him.

Correction to an earlier post on here: Rosy wasn't a teacher, that was her husband. The girl who tried to give Rosy flowers at the end must have been his "teacher's pet".
She helped behind the bar at her father's pub.
Still, it would have been humiliating to be stripped in front of any pupils.

The two white items on the ground were her underwear, her camisole and bloomers. Women wore bloomers in those days instead of panties, so she was definitely stripped completely naked and Michael realizes that as he looks at her underwear.

In the scene where she’s struggling with Maureen and her blouse is almost torn off we can see the corset and it looks like the lacing ties are in the back. Her boots also likely had laces so the women stripping her clothes off had to hold and lift her to get all the lacing loose. They were definitely intent on getting her completely naked and it was certainly no “accident” as Mr. MrcCardle tries to tell the priest. Actually he could’ve prevented the stripping but did nothing as the women removed her clothes. They all wanted to embarrass and humiliate her, especially Maureen, and that was the whole point of taking her out of the house into the public area for the entire town mob to witness her embarrassment as they publicly took off her clothes.
