I think the reason for that is strip clubs by nature are places where nudity is expected.

While you can definitely have a girl who doesn't expect it suddenly be rushed into stripping and doing it under peer/crowd pressure, or a girl who is anonymous losing her anonymity,
you're kind of limited to these two lanes if you want there to be embarassment.

Have you considered VRChat?
A lot of people I know (who had no business dancing on a pole IRL) got into VR strip clubs, then into being hosts at them, then at being rather successful dancers. You still have to physically develop the skills and practice your dancing a whole ton, but looks never matter (my 250lbs hairy construction worker buddy is a headliner).
