I really like this story. But ...when they initially head towards the park, the girl is quite definitely described as wearing both shoes and socks: "naked from head to ankles." So it came as a surprise when she's easily apprehended later because she's running away barefoot. Perhaps add a scene where she's made to get TOTALLY naked after arriving at the park?
