There was this one time where I was on a beach where the waves were very high, but not too high that you would hurt yourself. On that particular beach it was a very steep slope in the water so to enjoyed getting carried away by the waves as our girl in this story did, you'd have to be very close to the shore. That caused 2 things:
1) You could watch people without being in the water.
2) after the waves are gone, the person riding in the waves is not in the water but fully exposed on the stones (the beach had small stones instead of sand.)

And she would just jump in the waves and get pushed on the stones, both the waves and stones pulling her bottoms down. When they did get pulled down (most of the time just half way, so you couldn't see much most of the time), she'd just pull it back up and jump in the waves again.
