You were likely wise to forgo the revenge pantsing. He would probably have gone after you subsequently. You might have then been in the hallway or elsewhere at school in just your underpants if he took your shirt, too.

Thanks! I think you're totally right. I was especially scrawny then so they totally could have overpowered me at any point and stripped/humiliated me to their heart's content. He had taken people's shirts unprovoked before (luckily not me!) so that fear was certainly a contributing factor. I don't want to know what he would have done to me if I gave him a real reason to humiliate me, but it doesn't stop me from thinking about the what-if in pantsing him...
