Nope. Just another spammer, but what I don't get is why Hooked6 won't just say that he has just simply abandoned his most interesting story, instead of leaving us all in limbo. He still comments on other stories here, so it's not like he does not see the comments on this thread. I don't see what is the point of ignoring one's own thread, but whatever.

People need to relax a bit here. Hooked6 will continue this story when he can, if he can’t, that’s okay. Look out for when this thread says “chapter 6 x/xx/25”.
Most ENF stories don’t even get real endings, they just run out of steam. Isn’t anything to get upset about. Being rude won’t make writing go faster.

Thank you rrh62 and BlueDragmire ( and others). I just sent a PM to rrh64 replying to his post, then I saw this post from BlueDragmire and felt I needed to respond on the board.
I haven't given up on the story (and it is indeed a long one with many twists and turns). The rough outline is done and chapters 1-5 have been posted.
Then my real professional and home life got insanely busy. The last two and a half months have been a bitch to put in bluntly. Things have gotten better of late and I have been back to writing albeit with occasional speed bumps along the way. Truth be told the spam has been a bit discouraging to see but I realize the moderators have been inundated with this stuff all across the board and their efforts at clean up are appreciated.
I WILL be posting several long chapters very soon. I thank you all for your support.

I have just discovered this story, and have spent considerable, very happy, time reading and savouring the first 5 chapters. The character development is amazing, and the story telling, as always from Hooked6, is top notch!
I don't have the knowledge to speak to the historical accuracy, but I really do enjoy the points where the characters point out that the actual reality of slavery, and what happened, is being forgotten and white-washed. This is a good point. How are we supposed to learn from, and avoid mistakes of the past, if people hide from the facts?
Several things really stand out to me at the moment, leaving me wondering, and hoping we will get some form of answers to these points in good time.
Firstly, one moment that still sticks in my mind, is back in chapter 1. It is only after all of the documents have been signed, and I note, the teacher is VERY fast and eager to snatch back and keep safe her copies of the documents, that Angie picked the person, so the role, that her step-sister would be playing in this project. She was picking from a known list, and it seems very clear that her father knew the basic outlines, even if not all of the details of what was planned, but how much did he, does he, really know?
The teacher is visibly delighted at the name Honey being selected, while her father is shocked at this selection. So was he led to believe that a softer, less harsh role would be picked for his daughter? Or was he just hoping that the love for his daughter from this new family would keep her safe? He is clearly very devoted, and has invested a lot of money, with the purchase of this large house, in making his new wife, his new family, happy, and looking after their every desire and want. So how does this overlap with his love for his own daughter?
This does beg a related question, just HOW much is this full scholarship worth? Just how much is he willing to see his own biological daughter sacrifice, in the name of his new family's happiness, and saving one hell of a pile of money?
But even so, branding?
But to finish these thoughts first before moving on, I do note that when Brooke is signing, her signing seems a LOT more involved, suggesting that the document she is signing is a LOT more complex, and binding. I know many comments have been made about the nature of what she is signing, but the way she has to mark every page individually, it screams "you showed you read and understood all of this, including this nasty page", even though she didn't actually read or understand a single bit of it. I do wonder if this contract is going to be brought up as an example of why she has to continue, if / when someone outside gets involved. That could make for a powerful scene, if it fits and works.
Also, when the contracts are signed, note the conversation with the teacher, she is very clear, this is enslavement, which is permanent, rather than any temporary form of slavery. In the real world, obviously, this doesn't work, but a contract to do a study, is this "slavery" by a different name and method?
Next I have a couple of thoughts on the money she has been "promised" for her role in this project. This agreement was originally verbal and "don't tell anyone", so nothing in writing. Reminds me of the old saying that a verbal contract is as good as the paper it is written on.
Then when we get to her sale, the fact that the purchase price is basically identical to the value of the college fund she has been "promised", well, it seems quite clear she is never getting that money. But, and perhaps this is a minor question, where does the money go? Who is paid? In a way it doesn't matter, but in a sense of tying up loose ends, it is one of those little details that can matter, especially if the answer is going to have a large emotional impact. I can certainly see the money going to fund this entire project, so her "reward" or even "wages" are all used up treating her as a slave. That would be quite bitter indeed!
Coming back to the branding, we are first told that it is a "gift" from her new owner, but then later on told that basically slaves are branded. So, it was always expected that the slave was going to be branded?! Is her father actually on board with this?
Then later on, the message from her father about things are going to get harder, but pushing and encouraging her really hard to keep being strong, and keep on with the project. The way she is so very eager for her fathers prase and feedback, I am wondering to what degree everyone already knew she was a very submissive personality.
I am thinking here about how "everything" was organised and ready to go for the project, no way everything got set in motion from scratch when "Honey" finally agreed to become the slave in this exercise. So everyone had accepted, long before, that it was going to happen, she just needed that final nudge to actually agree, but would never actually read any of the papers before signing them, since she isn't that academically inclined. If the project was always due to start on this date, then the preparations would have been made with this start date in mind.
Even with all of this though, and the way she is being treated, the news that Honey is going to be trained for three different slave roles, including fancy slave... again, her father knew this was an option, even if he didn't think fancy slave was likely? Fancy slave is basically a nice term for sex slave, of this I am quite sure, even with the almost comical, and wilful ignorance of the real meaning of the term that Honey is showing.
But the flip side of this is her VERY strong sexual reaction to all of this. How is this going to impact her fathers reactions and response when he returns? There is quite a difference between seeing his daughter "broken and cowed" vs having endless orgasms while helping his beloved new family and doing valuable and important research...
So many questions, so also hoping that life is kind, and Hooked6 can post more fairly soon.

There is a point in time when you just gotta let go of the dream. Mine and yours. If this story was ever going to be updated, it would have been by now.
