thirteen. Because she is that age, it probably explains why so much takes place under the covers.

The editing is really odd in that scene. More than a couple of times it feels like the camera cuts a couple of frames too early, breaking the flow and reminding us these are multiple takes edited together. I wonder whether this version is a re-edit of a longer and/or more explicit original.

That scene is amazing.
Great dad joke and you can just feel the awkwardness when it falls flat. And then the equally awkward need in the way he drops his trunks and stands with them -- all without taking his eyes off the other guy the whole time, clearly wanting any kind of approval at all.
Having been in that position myself (albeit much older and with a friend in my case) it feels more authentic than some of the other scenes I've seen.

This is the entire movie, without dubbings. In English.
Early film by Larry Clark. I would call this a teensploitation movie.
Larry Clark has a thing about having teens, and even younger, doing drugs and acting bad. He hints at lots of
nudity, but for the most part doesn't show much skin in this film, until the after party sex with a girl who is passed out.

Larry Clark did do a quality film, once...
"Another Day in Paradise". Starring James Woods, Vincent Kartheiser, and Melanie Griffith, with a surprising appearance by Lou Diamond Phillips
as a gayish gangster.

Mysterious Skin 2004
This movie has all kinds of unusual and taboo subjects, from teenage male prostitution to perverted softball coaches to alien abduction
memories. It isn't for the squeamish.
I actually put this movie on the tv and watched it with my mom. She didn't have much to say about it afterwards, was probably afraid to
make comments on it...when she always has something to say about a movie.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt did a remarkable job in this one. He should be better appreciated as an actor.

Not very familiar with movies from India. I have seen older films where young girls of around 11 years old still can be seen without chest

I put this in because no other movie deals with this particular subject done in this way.
There is no nudity.
The closest Gordon-Levitt gets to being naked is a shower scene where he gets beaten up, nothing sexy there.
Nudity with the young actors is implied.
