These were of my brother and I in the bathtub together when we were roughly 4 and 9. One of us was standing and one of us was sitting cross-legged so these were basically full-frontals with just clean water in the tub so everything was visible -- enough so that eventually my mom took one of those reinforcement stickers you put around punched paper and cut little bits to cover our bits.
After that the pictures went to the gransparents' house and all the aunts and uncles thought we were both adorable and then we got teased about why the stickers were necessary and what were they covering up. I remember feeling embarrassed but also having butterflies in my stomach while everyone was looking at them, and sometimes I think about the one girl cousin about my age I thought was cute and wonder if she ever saw those.
Great memory, and that's exactly the feeling you get, wondering what the girls thought of seeing/almost seeing your boy bits.
I wonder if anyone tried removing the stickers to see the real deal
I remember seeing the Polaroids in an album a couple of years later. The sticker covering my brother had fallen off but the smudge of adhesive was still there. The sticker covering me fell off when the page was turned so I don't think they were removed deliberately.

There had been a bathtub Polaroid of us from a couple of years earlier where we were kind of at angles to the camera, I don't recall that one getting covered up but I do remember with this one at least in my mind our nakedness was quite stark.

I'm the older one, and there are a couple of him in briefs but the only nudes in the albums I inherited are of me.
Did the adhesive cover both your bits? Or did the paper falling off leave them exposed again?
Also, did you decide to preserve the pictures with you or get rid of them?
I wonder if your mom had a daughter if she would quite so easily hand over pictures of her daughter naked with just some stuck paper covering her bits

As I recall the adhesive obscured the both of our "bits". I've occasionally wondered if I ever got possession of that picture, whether the adhesive could be removed without damaging it. If it had been a normal picture printed on photo paper I would think yes but the surface of Polaroids seem to be a bit more fragile.
And I've kept all the pictures of me. I think it's interesting to see how my body has changed as I grew up.

The albums are packed away right now so I don't have them handy, and I don't know that I'm comfortable with posting an inventory with that amount of detail.
But speaking generally from memory... Most of the nudes from the album are me on the changing table or else standing with some push toy as a toddler. There are quite a few of me in training pants playing with/on toys and such after that. And then me in briefs, mostly lounging around the house with or without a shirt, up to about age 10.
