Pantsing and Stripping Forums

This was the height of the school summer holidays and so the beach was crowded. The only saving grace was that I was on holiday, about a hundred miles from home and so at least there was no-one who knew me who could see me. In general I tried to avoid any eye contact with anyone or even really 'see' any of the other people but it was a popular beach for families and so there were a lot of children there, many within a few years of my age, younger and older. I have a vague recollection of a family who were there on a few of the occasions who on our last day appeared to find a spot to sit that was closer to us than had been the case earlier in the week. This was a family with 3 daughters aged about 9 - 14 but we never played with them or even spoke or acknowledged them. Indeed, we never played with any other children on the beach, it was always just my cousin and I.
The more embarrassing part was when we arrived at the caravan park as myself and my cousin would have to get out of the car and help carry the stuff from the car back to the caravan and on occasions we would inevitably bump into other families who were staying on the site and who we got to know a little, at least enough to say hello.

That's a really good question. I think it was a mix of both. Said directly to me to shut down any protest, but also loud enough for anyone nearby to hear it as a 'justification'. It definitely didn't make me feel more private, that's for sure. Saying 'it's just a peepee' out loud somehow made the whole thing more awkward and drew more attention to it, not less.

It could have been worse, I guess.

My family was always more lax about female nudity than male nudity. I realize this is quite the opposite of how things usually went.

I am unsure why but my mother has mentioned I have an aunt I have never met who is a nudist so perhaps her sister's influence caused her to feel desensitized to female nudity and pass this on as the matriarch of our family.

But it does not appear to be solely her influence. I grew up very close with my extended family. As the only Jewish family in the tri-county area, we were all very close and so I was frequently visited by cousins, aunts, and other extended family members. They all speak fondly of my nudity around them when I was younger but I have heard no stories of any of my male cousins being naked around them.

I doubt it is solely a Jewish cultural aspect. But my family is unusually matriarchal, so perhaps there is a sense of female independence or empowerment in how the matrons of my family see female nudity around boys.

Some of the family photo albums of me naked around family and the anecdotes of old friends have stirred some vague memories, but nothing that I remember with as much clarity as I would like to.

By the time I had more clear memories of my life I had already become a shy nerd who was a far cry from the borderline exhibitionist girl I was before puberty. It was not until my last year of high school and college years where I would gain some of my confidence back.

It can be quite embarrassing to have lovers or friends shown my old family photo albums of my childhood nudism but I am quite happy I had such a unique freedom growing up.

Were they more like butt shots, or did your parents photograph everything you had

Oh there were quite a few family photos where I was fully frontal. One which sticks out to me was from a family wedding I went to. The bride is seen holding me in one arm for a photo op where I'm completely naked and sucking my thumb. I am told I had shed my dress during the reception and all my relatives just found it cute how the innocent little girl couldn't keep her clothes on.
