But bad enough with just boys - its fine to be naked in the showers or changing room when all boys are naked but if you are the only one then it is more embarrassing and you know that all the other boys will be looking at you. I suspect that the water will have been cold and combined with the embarrassment that probably didn't do much for his size either!

It was a former grammar school in the UK and we had the luxury of a heated indoor pool so shrinkage wasn't really a problem. To be fair to Lovett, once his fate was sealed he didn't try to cover anything up, swimming and diving as normal and outwardly seemed to enjoy the attention. Afterwards he played up not having to deal with wet trunks, said swimming naked felt great and that he'd do it every week. In the event he never did it again.
