I think so, but can’t be sure how accurately I am remembering them, of course. Well, we were in high school, probably freshman or sophomore year. It was just after Halloween and we both had some leftover candy. She ... asked what I would be willing to trade them for. I just knew them from school, hadn’t met any of them before high school in fact. None of them were particularly timid or quiet, quite the opposite actually. I considered them to be (or at least seem) more confident and self assured than me, which may have been a matter of perspective as I was terribly neurotic. I don’t think any of them would have been surprised to find that I found them attractive. We were all kind of geeks, which is what initially brought us together.

Honestly I love the incidents but this just makes me wonder how many missed opportunities you have
