Re: Summer camp for girls - and now for boys too

After a long time I've written a new part. I will try to post the next one faster.
19 Take care of the boys' clothes
Cynthia and Maria, along with their four helpers, had their arms full of the boys’ clothes and carried everything over to the laundry room, where Martha was already waiting for them.
“We’re supposed to bring you the boys’ clothes so you can wash them on a hot cycle,” Cynthia called out to her. “And you should soak the shoes in vinegar water, then dry them in the oven at 120 °C,” Maria added.
“Yeah,” Martha grumbled, “Sister Katherina already told me that. But I don’t really have time for that; and I don’t think it’s a good idea to dirty my washing machine and oven with these filthy rags.” Martha looked a bit annoyed.
“But we can’t just give the boys’ clothes back to them. We were hoping they’d fall apart in the wash,” said Maria disappointedly.
At those words, it was clear that the four girls who had helped carrinh the clothes hadn’t even thought of that yet. “What?” asked 14-year-old Lara, “you don’t want to give the clothes back to the boys at all? This camp is getting more exciting by the minute.” “But if Martha doesn’t let us use her washing machine and oven, it won’t work,” Maria replied.
“Don’t make that face,” Martha interjected, “just because the clothes aren’t going in the washing machine and oven doesn’t mean they’ll survive the camp.”
“Leave the shirts and pants here with me. I'll cut them up into rags,” she said mischievously. "It'll be funny when they realize they have to wash the dishes with their cut-up clothes. And we'll just put the shoes in the basement—maybe we'll find a use for them. I’ll just say tomorrow that everything got ruined in the wash.”
“If you want, you can take a few things with you,” Martha offered the girls. They didn’t need to be told twice. Each of the girls grabbed 2–3 pairs of underwear from the laundry pile, especially the older boys’ underwear. Martha took the rest. “I’m going to cut these up into cleaning rags with a pair of large scissors. You should go back to the group now; I think you might miss something otherwise,” she said to the girls, a smile playing on her lips.
Meanwhile, Stefanie and Helena had gone out to the courtyard with their group. They gathered the boys’ backpacks and took them to the common room so they wouldn’t be disturbed. There, they began searching through the backpacks.
Stefanie had given them instructions beforehand: “You heard Sister Katherina. So go through the backpacks. We’re going to make three piles here. Clothes go on the left. We’ll take those to Martha later. Next to that, we’ll collect valuables - wallets, cell phones, jewelry, watches, electronic gadgets, candy, and anything else you think it's valuable. Everything goes in one pile. The boys will know what’s belong to them.
The third pile is for the forbidden stuff: alcohol, cigarettes, and smut, as Sister Katherina said."
The girls got to work and sorted through the items. The three piles grew. There weren’t all that many clothes. Twelve jackets, three sweaters, and one pair each of underwear and socks ended up here. Helena sent Jasmin to Martha with the items.
Among the prohibited items, they had found a knife, four beer bottles, and six bottles of mixed alcoholic drinks. Five vapes were also in the backpacks. They had also discovered two porn magazines and seven packs of condoms.
The pile of valuables was the largest. “Okay, now let’s see how we’re going to divide this up,” said Stefanie. They went through the wallets. They left the bank cards and IDs untouched, but they took most of the cash, leaving a few coins and one or two bills in each wallet. Since the boys had brought a generous amount of spending money for the two weeks, this added up to € 670. They’d also found four gift cards, which they took for themselves as well. Just as they were looking through the rest of the stuff, Jasmin came back and reported, laughing, what Martha was planning to do with the boys’ clothes. “Oh dear, thank goodness we’re girls,” said Sophie, “this camp is turning out to be quite a loss for the boys.”
“Exactly!” said Helena, “and now we'll see what else they lose.”
All the candy ended up among the things the boys would never see again. “We have to leave the cell phones with the valuables; it’ll be obvious if we take them all,” Stefanie said. “We could take one,” Helena replied, “then it’ll look like it was lost.” With that, she took a new iPhone from the pile and slipped it into her pocket.
They hadn’t found any watches or jewelry, so besides the wallets and cell phones, the keys they’d found remained in the pile; they would hand all of that over to Sister Katherina so she could lock it in the safe.
They hid the stolen goods so they could discuss later with Sister Katherina how to divide it up. Finally, they packed the forbidden items into a plastic bag to take them out to the courtyard and stowed the now nearly empty backpacks in a closet in the common room. Then they set off again to participate in the boys’ further treatment.
