As a fellow author, I know the satisfaction and release of adding that *Complete to the title of the story.
Well done!

Thanks, I must admit it has a certain "mic drop" sense of triumph to it. :D

Freesub wrote: Fri Mar 13, 2026 12:39 pm Perfect set up for a sequel (and maybe even a collaboration?)
I deliberately went with a very similar open ending to the first chapter, as I like the suggestion that the cycle of revenge just keeps on going. I do feel however, like I've written everything I wanted to with these characters now. I know I said it before, but I really don't have any plans for where to take the story from here!

If anyone does want to pick up the baton and write a sequel (set either during the remainder of the cabin holiday or some time afterwards), you're welcome to do so and I'd be happy to answer any questions or offer feedback on any ideas you might have. :)

Awesome story all around! It does have some satisfaction as a reader to start from the beginning and stick around until the end so I can only imagine as a writer! I wish I could pick up the story for you because I do like the characters you created and developed. I fear I wouldn't do it justice though so for now I just want you give you your flowers on a job well done.
