For a country controlled by the Soviets, there are a surprisingly large number of movies made in East Germany showing underage nudity,
mostly girls. There were very few freedoms in East Germany, so I wonder if the children, and the parents of the children had full control
over whether or not those girls got naked in the movie scenes. Any movie made would have to get the approval of the Authorities.

This series of "SchoolGirl" films showed lots of women age 17 to 20. This is the only boy that I know of in the series.

All this discussion of German TV shows from the 70s and 80s reminds me of one that my high school German teacher showed us, "Ravioli", a series from 1984, kind of a stupid premise, kids parents win a vacation, leave the kids alone with ample money to take care of themselves, they decide to buy three weeks worth of ravioli and spend the rest of the money on things they've always wanted. One scene stands out in my memory (relevant to this thread), the youngest brother, completely naked, getting chased through the house by his older sister, there is brief full frontal.
I haven't been able to find any way to stream it, if it weren't for the series being listed on IMDB, I'd think I had imagined the whole thing. Does anyone know a way to watch that series now?

A quick bit of research suggested this scene is from Episode 2.
A youtube account that had the first and second episodes has since been terminated.

The three kids left behind are a 15 year old boy, a 12 year old girl, and an 8 year old boy (who tends to get semi or all the way naked several

I did not see a chased by sister, with a full frontal. Maybe it was edited out and lost.

East Germany was indeed surprisingly liberal and progressive in many respects when it came to sex and sex education. This was part of the official policy there. Then, there was a wide-spread nudity culture which came more from people themselves than the regime. I once read a report from a person who lived there and reported that it happened that when he/she was part of a highschool class of older students who went on a field trip and came to a lake, most of those students, boys and girls alike, spontaneously just stripped completely nude and took a bath - and the teachers joined them. This nudity culture may also have been some kind of freedom that people took in a politically quite repressive country.

I can't tell for sure, but I don't think they were forced. I rather think there were many kids and parents who did not mind, given the aforementioned attitudes.

There was some nudity culture in both West and East Germany, but it was more pronounced in the east.

It might have since been edited out. Our German teacher had them on old PAL tapes that they had a special VCR that could convert PAL to NTSC. I don't remember specifically if the sister was chasing him, that might be me mixing scenes together, but I do distinctly remember the frontal nudity, because of course being immature teenagers, all of us immediately started making the "ich habe Pepe's pepe gesehen" joke.
