How to transfer PMs from Inbox to another folder?

How to transfer PMs from Inbox to another folder?

I created a second folder where I want to transfer to some old PMs. I'm quite sure it is possible by creating an appropriate rule, but I can't figure out the details. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Rather than using rules, straight from the inbox you should be able to move all checked messages using the drop menu at the bottom which starts as "Mark/Unmark as important". One of the options in that menu should be to move to the new folder.
