Part III: viewtopic.php?p=20467&hilit=californium#p20467
The following takes place one year after the events of parts I-III. I was going to spin the time clock further forward than that with my next posting, but am adding one story in the interim period.
Annie Townsend stood at the check-in desk with her daughter and Laura’s younger son. A middle-aged woman with a pleasant demeanor was serving them. “Sofia Townsend, Daniel Langford. OK, you are both in cabin #5. That’s in the South Cabins – the lower cabin area. Here’s a map showing how to get there” – she circled one rectangle on the map numbered 5. “Sara is the counselor for that cabin. Have fun, you two!” she said cheerfully to the children as they departed.
Annie drove them over there, helped them with getting their suitcases out and said her good-byes. “See you in three weeks!”
“Do you want the top bunk or the bottom?” Danny asked Sofia.
“The bottom – easier access. On second thought, I’ll take the top bunk.” They went inside and selected one of the unclaimed bunk beds.
A college-aged woman came up to greet them. “Hi, I’m Sara, the counselor for this cabin for the first half of the session. Why don’t you two unpack, and then when everyone arrives, we’ll do a tour of the camp.”
The campers in cabin #5 turned out to be mostly, like Danny and Sofia, pairs of campers of ages 10-11, mainly boy-girl, who had requested shared accommodations in their registration. Some were siblings, but Danny and Sofia were not the only ones that were not. When everyone had arrived, Sara took them on the tour, showing the main assembly area, arts buildings, athletic fields, dining room, infirmary, and what most of them especially took note of, the pool which was a large one. She also pointed out the bathroom and shower facilities for the lower cabins, which consisted of a girls-only building and an open-access building. On returning to the cabin, most of the boys removed their clothing until it was time to go to the dining hall for dinner. That was followed by a night-time campfire, which on the first night was an introductory one.
After teeth brushing and any other getting ready for bed, the boys went outside while the girls changed into their sleepwear – pajamas or long nightgowns. When they were finished, the boys came inside, stripped naked, and climbed into bed. Sofia had taken the top bunk so that she could look down and see Danny, along with having a view of several boys in neighboring bunks, all of whom were sleeping naked and mostly leaving much of their bodies uncovered by bedding. After the first couple of days, this routine changed slightly in that the boys would take off their clothes before going outside to wait; there was no issue with being too cold outside since the nights were mild at that time of year.
The South cabins had formerly been the girls’ area. One of the two bathroom/shower buildings had been completely uprooted and moved to the North cabin area, replaced with one that was similarly transported down from the North cabin area. While the showers in both of those buildings were in private stalls, the ones in the replacement building – the one designated open-access – were communal and open to the rest of the bathroom.
After wake-up the next morning, everyone headed over to the open shower, all in their sleepwear (or lack of any). In front of the shower area were a couple of benches where the girls sat down to watch the boys take their showers. Although all of the boys had previously already been naked, now they were pretty much side by side, and there was a good deal of chatting among the girls comparing the boys’ bodies. When they were done, the boys headed back to the cabin while the girls went over to their own bathroom to take their – private – showers.
After lunch, the campers went to athletics. Soccer, as it typically has been these days, was the most popular choice, the boys all playing topless. After returning to their cabin, Sara told them “OK, it’s our time to go to the pool”. The boys stripped naked, after which Sara told them to wait outside while she and the girls changed into their bathing suits. When they were done, the group headed over to the pool where all of the South Cabin campers were assembling. All of the males, campers and counselors alike, were naked, while all of the females were wearing one-piece suits.
Sofia and Danny discovered that one of their cabin-mates had met their mothers. Her name was Michelle, who along with her mother were at the “Girls’ Retreat” that Annie and Laura had helped lead shortly after the dual-family beach trip the year before, and was now part of Cabin 5 along with her brother Seth. Initially, Seth and his father had been reluctant to start going naked around the house, but they had agreed to a practice that some other families did also, where the males gradually reduced the amount of clothing they wore over time. Each time they become fully used to a certain amount of clothing, they would begin wearing less. It became a big deal on the day that the two males reached the final step, and pulled down the small pair of briefs that was all they had left to wear. They had rarely worn clothes at home since then.
Their family’s house had a pool in the back, which since then had been the site of several parties which for many of the guests was their introduction to CFNM; through that means Michelle and Seth’s family had played a prominent role in popularizing and spreading the practice in their community.
The four children became a group within the cabin. In athletic team events, they all tried to end up on the same team, and in the pool they regularly played games where the girls sat on the boys’ shoulders and attempted to keep their feet on the boys’ butt-cheeks.
When the session was about halfway done, Sara announced that there would be a switch in counselors, as she was going to Cabin 6 and the counselor for that cabin would take her place. After packing up her belongings and saying her goodbyes (“but I won’t be far”), she departed and the new counselor came over, a man about the same age as Sara whose name was Ryan. He said that the switch was so that the cabin would get equal time with a male and a female counselor.
Ryan’s arrival changed the cabin dynamics, for now they had an adult joining the boys in all of the ways that gender roles applied. Whenever the boys stripped and went outside the cabin for the girls to change clothes, Ryan did likewise. Sitting naked outside the cabin, he and the boys would often get into conversations, with how each of them got into CFNM being one common topic.
Ryan himself had first experienced it at the very beginning of his recently completed freshman college year. Hardly had he moved into his dorm room when several of his female dorm-mates, who had either been part of adoptions of CFNM lifestyles at home or had seen a number of naked males that summer at the beach or elsewhere, asked him to strip naked for them, which he willingly obliged. (In fact, every single male in the dorm ended up being asked by women in the dorm to do likewise; hardly any had refused.) Thereafter, he was naked most of the time when in the dorm.
Now the cabin had a counselor who slept naked, and being in the one bed that was not a bunk bed he was more open to view. Likewise, although as the counselor he could have showered on his own, he joined the boys in the group shower; at this point, girls watching him shower was nothing new for him at all, the only difference being that this female audience was a good deal younger than what he was used to (although no less interested), other than when Sara showed up to watch him as well. He became the primary object of their attention, in their hope especially of seeing an adult-sized erection; as he had feelings that were triggered by the sense that most eyes were focused on him, that hope was sometimes satisfied.
The camp was essentially divided into three areas: the South (lower) cabins and the North (upper) cabins where the campers spent the night were on opposite sides of the main area where the recreational and other shared facilities were. Up through the previous year, the South cabins were for the girls and the North cabins for the boys, but it had been decided for the new season to have the South cabins be for children who were living a CFNM lifestyle while the North cabins would be traditional single-sex setup with boys clothed when in mixed company. Thus, unlike in the South cabin area the North one had both girls- and boys-only bathroom buildings. However, by the registration period most attendees were living in CFNM arrangements, at least at home. That meant that some of those living under CFNM were placed in the North cabins. It didn’t take long for the setup in the North cabins to begin to unravel.
Word quickly spread to the North cabins of the living arrangements in the South ones. That led to a number of disgruntled campers in the North cabins, not all of them girls.
As previously indicated, the girls’ shower building had private shower stalls but the boys’ had just a single communal shower area. Part of the communal showers in the boys’ bathroom were visible from outside the doorway, although since the bathroom door was normally closed it afforded only a brief view to the shower from outside.
On the fourth day of the session, however, the closing mechanism to the door began to fail, and once opened the door remained open for a long time. The girls in the North cabins quickly learned about this, and some of them began to assemble outside the doorway to watch. Gusts of wind that were hard enough caused the door to loudly slam shut and then slowly re-open, annoying everyone. Finally, two boys – who were among those from CFNM households – who were inside the bathroom and having undressed ready to shower one time that happened decided to take the bull by the horns. Without even bothering to put their clothes back on, they went outside and each looked around until each one found a large rock. Carrying them back to the shower building, they put them down in the doorway to prop the door fully open full-time.
That brought even more girls out to see. Now boys used to CFNM showered in the area visible from through the door, while most of those who were not did so further back. The counselors, many of whom themselves were from CFNM households, decided, absent any complaints from campers, not to interfere. A few days later, the door was fixed, but with a door-stop installed for the convenience of maintenance personnel, and a couple of boys from CFNM households who were now accustomed to the new situation quickly propped it back open. As time went on, those boys began to stay naked more, eventually exiting the building naked, while others who at first hesitated to do so began to shower in the visible area. Meanwhile, some of the girls saw the full-time propping open of the door as an invitation to move in closer. Closer and closer they came, until a few came across the threshold, giving them a view of the entire shower area. Some of the boys who had been out of sight from outside recoiled at that. Others, however, were emboldened, walking right up to the girls after finishing their showers to chat without bothering to wrap a towel around themselves. Seeing that, the shyer boys began to join in as well.
For their designated swim hour at the pool, the north-siders were all supposed to wear swimsuits. During the first week, that was how things happened.
On the eighth day, upon arriving at the pool, one of the boys suddenly pulled down his swimsuit. And that opened the floodgates. A slew of boys’ suits immediately became targets for removal by both themselves and the girls. Within a minute, half of the boys were naked. If none of the girls in the South cabins had ever seen so many naked boys at one time before during their swim period, a few of those in the North ones had never seen a naked boy at all until that moment.
From then on, each day a few more boys shed their swimsuits at the pool. And they were soon joined by some of the male counselors after two of the female ones one day decided that their experience would be enhanced by yanking down the suits of their male companions.
It was the final full day of camp, the final pool hour for the South cabin group. Sofia and Michelle were once more riding on their companions’ shoulders, when Michelle happened to look around and beyond the pool area. What she saw made her shout “Hey, look at that!” and point in one particular direction, causing the other three to look over that way. What she saw, to her surprise, was a whole other group of children approaching the pool. She realized that it could only be the campers from the North cabins.
The pool wasn’t large enough for the entire camp to use it at the same time without getting too crowded, so the South and North cabins had separate pool hours. There was also the matter that the two groups had different rules for pool usage. The campers in the South cabins were generally aware that the North cabins were supposed to be on a traditional, non-CFNM setup. But although the counselors in the South cabins learned something about what was going on in the North cabin area during all-counselor meetings, they hadn’t shared that information with their charges. And at all of the activities where the entire camp participated together, such as meals and arts-and-crafts activities, all males were clothed. Up to that time, the South campers had always departed and were back at their cabins before the North campers arrived. But seeing how things had changed and deciding that there ought to be one big pool party for a part of one pool hour at least, the North cabin counselors made a declaration to their campers that their pool hour would start early that day.
As the other group came closer, what the four campers saw made their eyes open wide. For they could see that, with only a handful of exceptions, the males, both campers and counselors, were naked.
Postscript: By the time the camping season finished, the rules for the North cabins were virtually the same as in the South ones.
