Can this site add a way to find any author's stories?

I feel like this site should add a way for you to find all of the stories written by the person whose profile you click on. It already has a way to see a user's posts, but that particular method also includes their comments on other people's threads. There should be a way to find specifically the threads started by the person.

I don't think that is possible with the design of this system.
A posting is a posting is a posting. The system doesn't know that one is a story and another is a comment.
This why I would love to find a system that separates content (a story post)thread from a comment/discussion thread.
This separation in available in wikis but the content doesn't a read-only-after-posting nature that would be threads, all content is editable so it would be more difficult to see story appendages.

You can advanced search by Author and choose the option for first post of a topic only gets any stories they have started without ranom replies.
Alternatively a number of authors like myself have a master story list posted in the archives... although I need to update this soon...

I have put together a nearly complete Index, posted in the Archives.
I noticed there are quite a few such story listings for an author that are not in the Master Indices section.
I don't think I can move it on my own, so I guess I could request it be transferred to the sub-section for indexes. Thank you.
