Saturday at the Lake
Chapter 1. Surprise Contact
When the phone tucked down in his front pocket rang out, Davos hoped it was a buddy from school calling. The school year had just ended a
week earlier and it doesn't take many days till being home alone with his younger brother got boring. Davos pulled the phone out, expecting to
see the name of a schoolmate on the screen, but there was a number showing not recognized. Distrusting unknown callers, Davos answered the
phone. A female voice, one he didn't recognize, replied to his "Hello?".
"Is that you, Davos? Great...glad I got hold of you. This is Mrs. Marple."
"Um...Mrs. Marple?" Davos repeated, the name not exactly familiar to him either.
The voice on the other end laughs. "I guess you don't recall the name. Our acquaintance was only for a couple days. I'm sure you remember
swimming and a picnic lunch with my two daughters. Marilyn and Julieta enjoyed getting to know you last summer."
A flood of memories crashes into his brain, nearly causing Davos to drop the phone.
"Ya ya yes...I remember." He couldn't say anything more.
"As you know, I had a good time with your mother, and what a great mom you have you should be so proud. I called her before contacting you.
She was pleased to hear from me, and she agreed to our getting together again."
Davos is thunderstruck by this. "Ga ga getting together? Really?"
The woman on the other end laughs again. "It's all worked out. This coming Saturday meet us at my sister's house, you know the one with the
swimming pool in the backyard."
Davos gulped, his throat suddenly getting dry and his fingers tremble slightly. "I...I remember the house."
"Great. See you at 10am this Saturday. It will be wonderful to see you again, Davos. I can't wait. Goodbye till then."
The message ends. Davos stares at the number on the screen till the screen goes black. "Fuckmeister! That was unexpected."
Footsteps and a voice from behind startled him, nearly made him drop the phone again.
"What's unexpected?" asks twelve year old Baron.
As usual, the younger brother is butting into his business, and always at the worst possible moment like what happened only recently when
Baron used a screwdriver to undo the lock on the bathroom door, barging in unannounced to catch Davos jerking off at the sink while looking
at himself in the mirror. Little brothers can be a FREAKING big pain. Davos had no answer when Baron laughs and inquires "Why are you
doing that?"
"Was that mom on the phone? She said this will be her day to stay late at work."
"Oh...it's a call from someone I met last summer, no big deal. Nothing to tell you."
"Well, I'm bored. Wanna play a video game?"
"Just go outside and play with yourself," Davos said a little too loudly, too impatiently.
Baron looks disappointed, but he does have a good comeback as he turns around to leave the room. "You're the one who plays with himself."
Davos grimaces, shakes his head. It's a current curse to be fifteen years old and horny as hell half the time. If he didn't play with himself at
least every other day or so he would die. Davos goes to his room, same room belonging to brother Baron, a place where he often sneaks in a
playful session or two on himself at night while the kid brother is hopefully asleep on the bunk bed right above him. Needing a moment of
alone time, Davos plops down on his lower bunk.
Davos never told his brother all the details about what happened the previous summer, as he figured Baron was too young to understand it.
The things that go through a teenager's mind are not fit to be shared with someone only eleven at the time. His mother knew some of it, but
even she was not aware of everything. And now his mother had just agreed to bring the Marple girls back into his life. OH BROTHER...what
is he gonna do?
