When I was younger, my brother and I would always get pantsed as punishment. Sometimes there was a spanking too, and sometimes there wasn't, but something always came off as a warning to behave and sometimes, we had to stay like that for the rest of the day

So in your family, pantsing was a punishment in itself?

I've heard of pantsing being used as a step toward a bare bottom spanking, but if you and your brother sometimes faced the former without the latter, then I suppose the clothes removal was more than just a means to an end.

Or maybe it was intended as a warning that further misbehavior would lead to a spanking?

It could be a punishment by itself but it’s usually followed up with a spanking

Pantsing punishment? Never heard of that. I mean I've heard of pulling your pants down or getting them pulled down before a spanking but never by itself like. How would that work then? Get your pants pulled down and stand in the corner or something?
