After being really tolerant when we first met, my wife has become very anti naturist. Me walking naked around the house and garden is a massive red line and I've even been called a pervert and threatened with divorce for doing it.

This last couple of years I've been reduced to the pathetic, impotent protest of the henpecked husband. Most nights we go out for an after dinner walk around the local nature reserve part of it in a narrow, secluded path in some woods.

In the warmer weeks I wear a pair of swim shorts without underwear and at the secluded part, I go into single file behind her, hook my hands over the waistband, pull them down and hold them mid thigh, penis, testicles and bottom exposed in silent defiance as we walk. She has never once turned round.

Is anyone else with a naturist-unfriendly partner and how do you cope?

Methinks she doth protest too much. If she was simply disgusted by it she would just express discomfort or say it's weird, don't do that.

This strong of a reaction makes me feel like when you go naked, she doesn't like it because it brings up feelings of intrigue she has suppressed.

I've seen a lot of women say they can't do certain things due to "societal pressure" even when there's nobody around to enforce it. Just anecdotal, so making a generalization would probably be sexist, but nonetheless my conjecture is she may feel intrigue or a desire to try it when you do it, and because of her upbringing she likely crushes that down with disgust and vents her anger onto you.

Naturally I've never met your wife so all of this could be horse droppings

, but I think it's at least partially true noentheless
