TV Show Scene's effects

Relatively tame story this, but basically I was watching a commonly watched family show with a female friend of mine whom I was very close to, we were both around 9 at the time.

The show had a group of kids around our age, which has a few boys and a girl. I don't remember the whole story but basically the boys were all shown in just small pairs of briefs through which you could see the outlines of their willies, while the girl was nowhere to be found in the scene.

I remember seeing her giggling during the scene and feeling oddly violated that she was seeing boys in their undies in screen while the girl was only ever fully dressed. The double standard it implied that if such a situation arose she could see me in my undies/naked but I couldn't see her made me quite uncomfortable.

I'd love your opinions or childhood or teenage experiences of seeing such scenes in shows you watched.

Unfortunately, my parents being 10 steps away put any potential discussions of that nature tk bed before they could begin.
And yes, she had a bit of a "childhood crush" on me and did end up seeing me in my undies.... Though I ended up seeing her totally naked

Great story, Freesub! Sometimes 'relatively tame' ones are just as good, as they are more relatable / believable, though nonetheless embarrassing.
I also had a close female friend at that age and I imagine I may well have felt the same thing in that situation!

What you considered uncomfortable at that young age could have led to arousal because of some embarrassment.

The double standard employed leads to such ideas as CFNM. If you were older at the time and your parents weren't so close by, the TV scene may have had a different, and more interesting effect on you.

But your thoughts of your friend seeing you naked and you not being able to see her were appropriate and interesting. Too bad you couldn't engage in some CFNM with your friend.

From what I was told by my father and various Uncles the "double standard" for male nudity in front of females was much more pronounced years ago. Mothers and other females finding pretenses to enter male locker rooms was common and often considered almost comical. Dad swam naked at the local YMCA in the late 1960s. Supposedly only male present but he claims there were many violations of that policy.

Even more recently my own experience of our coach's wife seeing David and I naked (and a few others, too) after our post-run showers was not really frowned upon.

Yes, that’s a bit tame but I get turned on by a lot of movie and TV scenes where someone has their clothes stripped off in public even if they don’t actually show the nudity. Just the fact that someone has been stripped nude in public is quite arousing. The movie “Ryan’s Daughter” shows the main character, Rosie, being stripped naked by a mob and like to imagine the emotions of the crowd and Rosie’s embarrassment as her clothes get pulled off in public.

This link shows the scene where Rosie’s clothes start to get stripped away. Of course we don’t see the stripping but it’s clear that all her clothes came off. In the scene, the women start ripping off Rosie’s blouse and we can see her undergarments, then Maureen, who is envious of Rosie, gleefully rips off her skirt. After the mob rips off her clothes they start playing and throwing various pieces of clothing around like her shoes and bloomers. One of the boys is seen playing with her corset showing that all her underwear came off. Near the end of the scene, the mute Michael, played by John Mills, picks up her one of her stockings and sees her scattered underwear on the ground realizing that Rosie had been stripped naked by the town mob.
