Well think about for a minute. It flows from one event to another alright. But the style

>My name is Ellie Martin, and I'm ten years old. Today was just like any other day, or so I thought. My mother had left early in the morning, her eyes filled with the weight of responsibilities that only she seemed to understand

Problem number 1: a 10 year old doesnt talk like this. Its also slop fluff that immediately gives away that it was made by AI

>left in charge of brother but hes not home hes at the hospital

Thats not "left in charge" so much "asked to visit him at the hospital". Then just teleports there

>smile that didn't quite reach her eyes

Classic slop phrase. I'm guessing this was made with chatGPT

>ministrations

another classic slop word

Everything at the hospital makes sense and carries logically. A human could have written it and I can see why someone would like it. But idk, chatGPT/Claud are very boring writers. Custom models or deepseek/gemini can make something a bit more personality. Even if the smaller local models are dumb.

I normally try to keep my feedback as constructive as I can, as I know an overly harsh critique can spoil a creative muse... but I'm less concerned about hurting the AI's feelings. xD
The pacing/dialog feels like it's trying to emulate a steamy scene in a trashy romance novel, which makes sense given AI recognizing the sexual charge of the prompt, but not realizing the assignment isn't Fifty Shades of Grey. The story kept tripping over it's own feet forgetting who was being touched where and by who in an attempt to keep the illusion of a steamy foreplay going.

If your someone who sorta skims the context of a story, only reading enough to get the situation, characters, and dynamic, before jumping straight to the 'action' of the chapter, then I'm sure something like this can scratch an itch. But I cant help but get the feeling that if allowed to keep going, the AI was about to descend into a full blown sex scene.

Tldr; You asked for Breakfast and the AI started to bake a cake... yeah it got out the Milk, Eggs and Fruit, and theres no law against cake for breakfast... but it'd be generous to call it more than 'a good try'

yeah i dont really belive in one shots. I think what can help is being specific about time points. For example if you want a story that tskes place over a school day, describe what you want and then tell it to wright something specific "describe what happens until this character gets on the bus". Or if it jumps ahead, ask it to explain something in detail. and do that more and more if you have to. Eventually the model should recognize the pattern and you can have more fun message to message
