Another nice scenario not mentioned yet: Bribed to strip! Like the snotty rich kids offering their babysitter a ridiculous amount of money for her clothes. The interesting part is the internal struggle between her modesty and her desire to go to college.

Do you have a story of this type that you can recommend please?

I read one on Literocia, not quiet that, but one rich college friend (& Partner) and a medical student, I'll see if I can find it

My preference is definitely the stripped by others and lost bet.

Those both have the most for the embarrassment factor.

Lost bet, you have to some control and have to do it.
But being stripped by others, you lose that control. And that adds a whole bunch to it.


And of course you could also combine multiple of these situations.

Here are some that you didn't mention that I really enjoy:

1. Magical/Supernatural/Super Power related reasons: It could be something like a witch cursing a girl so that she can't wear clothes (the story "Vestiphobia" by FinchAgent, and the manga "Don't call me a naked hero in another world" are two good examples of this). It could also be a story in which super powers are involved, and nudity just so happens to be involved in the mechanics of the powers. Senran Kagura, Super HxEros, and Donnylaja's story "Naked Girl: The story of Dareen" are three great examples of what I mean.

2. Allergy to clothing/Medical reasons/Psychological reasons: I also like stories where a girl can no longer wear clothes because of something like an allergy. The Tami Smithers story is a prime example of this. Other examples include a story on Literotica called "Soma" where a corporate attorney suddenly develops an allergy to clothing, or the story called "Robin's Problem" where Robin has this rare condition where she gets a rash if fabric touches her skin. Edith Dick's stories "Extreme Therapy" and "More Therapy" are good examples of psychological reasons for nudity.

3. Permanent Nudity Virus or something similar to that: Just read the story "The nudity virus" by HStoner on Literotica to get a sense of what I'm talking about here. "The Spell" by RGArrow also uses the same concept. Basically, the gist is, the government created some virus that makes it so that whoever gets infected cannot wear clothes anymore at all. Any fabric that touches their skin (or any bodily fluids or secretions from them) just dissolves, thus leaving them naked and unable to put on clothes. The virus is spread through touch, so if an infected person touches someone, then the person who they touch gets infected too. There's no cure in sight in these stories, so the infected people are resigned to remaining naked for the rest of their lives.

4. Legal or Corporate reasons: There might be a law in some strange place that the protagonist finds herself in that prohibits women from wearing clothes. The story "Emily 2.0" by VelcroFist on Literotica is a good example of this kind of story. As for corporate reasons, mailgirl stories (not Barelin's idea of mailgirls, but the usual idea) are a prime example of this. I like "Confessions of a Mailgirl" and "Mailgirls Down Under". "The Resort Ambassador" by Readerman is another great example of a story where a mixture of job duties and legal reasons force a woman to stay naked for an extended period of time. You may have heard of the concept of registered nudity in some stories. The stories "Casey's Fall" and "Casey's Rise" (which are really just part 1 and part 2 respectively of one big two part story) by VelcroFist on Literotica are a great example of a story that uses the registered nudist concept in combination with legal troubles that Casey found herself in to push Casey into a life of permanent nudity. In a way, this category technically bears some similarity to the "authority" option, but it's like an evolution or a more grown up version of the "authority". Also, no offense to Barelin. Her concept of mailgirls seems to involve the girl having her reproductive organs removed and her memories wiped, and being turned into a robot (still naked of course). I don't like that take on the mailgirl concept, and I don't really see the point of it.
