I think 10 is a good age for girls to be able to be in charge of all the naked males living in the house including adult males. If the girl is mature at an earlier age, like Cassandra being in charge of her father that is great too, After all if yoi go to the doctors and you are the one naked is not the one clothed in authority? Since ALL the males are naked, it makes sense that girls are in authority over them starting at 10 or even 7 as was Cassandra.
