Girls in boys locker room

Given the discussion on the other board about whether "true stories" in this section should actually be "true," I'll share this one, which to the best of my recollection (aside from names, etc.) is accurate. That said, memory is funny.

As a high school freshman (age 14-15) I was on a sports team at the school. I was a relatively quiet kid at that age, and mostly kept to myself. I hadn't started dating at all yet. Girls weren't much of an interest. I had crushes, but I didn't really act on them and I was okay to leave it at that. I just provide that as background on my experience with girls. Other guy friends of mine had been dating and had a variety of sexual experiences already. But that wasn't for me yet. Suffice it to say, no girl my age had ever seen me naked.

For the sports team, there were two girls who were "managers" of the team and were involved in keeping stats and other activities. I heard a rumor from a friend that part of their job was to hand out towels to the guys after we would emerge from the shower. When I heard that, I kind of freaked out on the inside, but it was too late. I had signed up for the sport, and that was that. Plus, I thought maybe the person who told me that didn't know what he was talking about.

Of course after our first practice after school one day, we hit the showers. And as each of the guys walked out, this girl (we'll call her Lisa) was standing there handing out towels. To her credit, she didn't make much of a deal out of it. It was just something she was supposed to do. But my god, was I nervous and embarrassed. I remember feeling like I was shaking so bad the first few times I came out of the shower that I thought I might fall over! I would always be very careful to cover my front as I approached her, and I'd put the towel around myself as soon as I walked away, to (hopefully) ensure she couldn't see anything from behind. I was also petrified that I might become unexpectedly aroused in the shower (which would have been embarrassing, girls present or not). I don't think that ever really happened, but to be honest, I've "imagined" the situation so many times since then that it may have. Fantasy and memory don't always mix so well. In any case, I survived. I'm sure she saw something at some time. Just the fact that she was looking at me as I was wet and naked, approaching her and holding my hand out to get the towel was something that was highly embarrassing for me.

Fortunately, she was older than me, and aside from the sport, I never really saw her around the school or interacted with her. But to be in that situation at that age was quite interesting and defining for me.

Perhaps "Lisa, the manager" wasn't into guys. She could actually enjoy it more, being able to see guys vulnerable and naked, if she has little
sexual interest. Most "regular" girls could be too intimidated to actually stand there handing out towels to boys who would tower over her.

It would make a good fiction story. Trust me, I've imagined many fantasy versions of this story, in which Lisa isn't so entirely "down to business."

I do know that she was not gay. She dated guys. That I did know. Despite managing the team, she wasn't some butch athletic type. She was actually a bit of a girly-girl who happened to like the sport. We were just the freshman team, and my recollection is she was a junior. So I don't think she had any interest in us.

I don't remember any harassment, but like I said, I was more focused on not getting a boner. But really, I don't think there was any harassment, especially since we were freshmen and she was a Junior. That said, I could very well have been oblivious.

And yes. She was certainly in a good position to watch the guys shower. It was just a big group shower, not individual stalls. She would stand just outside the wall and face the other way, but absolutely. A turn of the head, and there you go. I will say, when I was in there, I never saw her looking. And I was peeking over there quite often, just to make sure she wasn't. But yeah. I can't imagine she never sneaked a peek. I'd pay good money to get inside her mind and know what she actually saw and how she felt about the whole thing.

Okay. Well, that's not helpful. Because all these years, I felt safe in the feeling that she was just there doing her job. And now I'm looking back on it, realizing that she most likely saw me naked, probably from all angles. So that's kind of crazy. Man, was I naive!

The possibility absolutely excited me, and I have spent many moments over the years replaying versions of what might have happened. But the truth of it at that time was all I cared about was not being seen. It had nothing to do with size. I was just very shy and private about my body, and even at age 14-15, although I was interested in girls, I wasn't yet interested in actually pursuing them.

So in fantasy at the time, I was very excited about it. In reality at the time, I was nervous and embarrassed (not in a sexual way) about it. But yes. The variety of fantasies that I had about Lisa exposing me or looking at me? Wow. I could never document them all.
