Kelly’s First Day Back at School - Aftermath

NEWS AT 5 - On the scene
Breaking News!
A man behind a desk in a sport jacket and tie shuffled some papers and looked straight into the camera.
“We are going live on the scene with our field reporter, Donna Cho. Donna, what can you tell us?”
A slender Asian woman held a microphone. Behind her were fire trucks, and police cars with their lights flashing. Smoke rose in the background as police struggled to keep people behind a barricade they had constructed.
“Jim, I am in front of the Riverstone Middle School and Junior High, where earlier this morning a protest turned into a riot of naked girls. From what I have been told, at approximately 10 AM this morning, the girls of Riverstone Middle School started a protest of a new mandatory uniform being proposed for all girls at the school. The girls start to remove their clothing, some just to the underwear, but most stripped completely naked, and start to throw books and papers around the classrooms and into the halls.”
A man in a police uniform stood beside the reporter, and the camera panned over to allow both of them into the shot.
“Officer, what can you tell us about the protest, and how did it turn into a riot?” The reporter asked.
The male cop seemed a bit uncomfortable, but after he cleared his throat he began to speak.
“At 10:19AM we received a 911 call from the school about a mob of unruly students that the teacher and school security were unable to control.” He said. “It seemed the protest of the new uniforms for the girls had crossed the campus and the Junior High girls joined the protest.”
“You mean?” the reporter asked.
“Yes, they started to strip off their clothes and run through the school. Some of the girls didn’t want to take off their clothes, so the naked girls gathered up all the clothed girls in the field between the two schools and ripped off their clothes. The pile of clothes were then set on fire in a large bonfire.” The officer said.
“So approximately how many girls were in the protest?” asked the reporter.
“We can’t be sure, but about 240 girls between the ages of 10 to 14, attend the Middle school and Junior High, so..”
“So you are saying there were 240 naked girls running around the two schools this morning?”
“More or less, yes.”
“And why couldn’t the teachers and school security stop this, after all, they were just little girls.” the reporter continued.
“Well, it was reported that anytime any of the adults would try to apprehend one of the girls, they were start screaming ‘Help Help, they are touching my naughty places!’” the cop said.
The reporter stifled a laugh, but she smirked and asked, “And that prevented the adults from trying to control the girls.”
“Yes, the school staff was afraid they could be charged with a crime, so they called the police.”
“Thank you officer.” the reporter said and looked back at the camera. “Back to you Jim.”
“Thanks Donna.” The news anchor appeared back on the screen. “Officials from the school district state there was never any proposed uniform for the girls of the schools. When News at 5 asked to speak with the principal or vice principal of the schools, the district said both of them had been terminated. And a new policy was put in place, that all students must wear clothes outside of the locker rooms. Any students found without clothes on school property will be expelled.”
Kelly stood next to the TV in her living room, still naked with her arms at her side.
Martin Dean turned off and looked over his daughter.
“Kelly, how could you?” Kelly’s mother Eva gently sobbed as the TV screen went black.
“It wasn’t my idea.” Kelly said. “Sarah started the protest.”
“There shouldn’t have been a protest at all. You were being punished, there was no uniform.” Kelly’s father said. “And now you have caused damage to the school, and people have lost their jobs.”
“I know, I’m sorry.” Kelly tried to make herself look smaller than she already felt.
“Well it seems you have gotten out of your punishment at school. You will have to wear clothes as part of the new district policy.” Kelly's father said. “But, that doesn’t mean you get out of your punishment at home.”
Kelly almost didn’t want to know. She could feel her eyes start to swell up with tears.
“You are forbidden to wear any clothes when you are not at school.” her father finished.
“What but…” Kelly stuttered in disbelief.
“That means you will walk naked up to the bus stop. Your mother or I will come with you. And when the bus comes we will give you your clothes to wear to school. Then when you come back on the bus, we will be waiting for you and take your clothes from you. And you will remain naked until you catch the next bus.”
“Daddy no, please, my life will be ruined.” Kelly pleaded.
“You should have thought of that before you got people fired.”
“And I am going to go and have a talk with Sarah’s mother. She should know the real truth about what happened today.” Kelly’s mom added.
“Now, take a trash bag and go upstairs and put all your clothes into it. Your mother and I will take out 5 outfits from the bag for you to wear to school each week.” Kelly’s father instructed.
“But, what about the rest of my clothes?” Kelly asked.
“Well we are giving them away to the church of course. You won’t need them anymore, for a long time.” Kelly’s mother said as she wiped her eyes of her tears.
Kelly had never seen either of them this mad before.

I went back and read all parts today and thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you for writing it and do continue. Look forward to the 2nd day. First week of school, first month of school

I have been trying to think of something, but I'm coming up blank. Not sure how to take this idea forward.
