This is a rewrite, continuation, and alternate take on a story I once read long ago on ASSTR called "Naked Neighborhood."

Luke: Our protagonist. He has moved to a new neighborhood with his mother, but finds he needs to adjust to the unusual culture around male nudity here. Large penis.

Chapter 1: Moving In

It was time for the Move. Mom, Jacob, and I hopped in the Van and headed to our new house.

It started a few weeks ago, when Mom got a promotion at the company. It was a substantial raise. She still is not rich, but at least now we can move out of the apartment.

As we drove along, we admired the scenery going along the highway. Mom hadn't even shown
us the new house, so we were excited to move in today.

As we pulled up to the house Jacob and I commented on and admired all the large windows on the house. We can easily see that the movers the company paid had already finished moving everything in. We pulled into the driveway and before Mom even put the car into park, Jacob and I bounded out and right up to the front door. We tried to open the door but it was locked, so wee pressed our faces up against the glass very hard
looking into the foyer of our new home.

"Don't you boys smear your snot all over the window, or I'll make you clean ALL of them," Mom said, her hands on her hips as she bent a bit forward, her motherly breasts hanging down and flashing my brother and I her cleavage.

"LET US IN!" both of us chimed...

Rolling her eyes good-naturedly, Mom unlocked the front door and we both ran up stairs to see our new room. Right away we saw a door with our names already painted on it, just like we had at the old apartment. "Luke & Jacob's Room." My name was written with a Jet plane and Luke's
with some a star. Our mom probably painted it herself. She's a pretty decent artist.

"We are still sharing a room, mom?" I asked.

"Yes boys, but you also get a game room, with a couch and fridge, since I don't want to put a TV, computer, or games in your room."

We both run down the hall and see another room that has "Game Room, Boys Only" painted on the door with a pawn piece and game controller on either side.

"Thanks, Mom!" we both exclaimed.

"You're welcome. The couch is a pull out and there are two closet cots in there for when you boys have friends over."

"Awesome!" Jacob exclaims.

"I'm going to go downstairs to make some dinner. You boys make yourselves at home. Literally!" She giggles at her lame joke.

Jacob and I went back to the front door to take off our shoes, then went straight back to the game room.

"Want to play a round of your favorite shooter?" Jacob asked.

"Sure, but I get the green controller!" I replied.

We played the game for a few rounds until Mom shouted up to us that dinner was ready. As we were heading downstairs we could see some heads of a few boys and one girl in a nearby yard or field just over the fence. They appeared to be running around playing some sort of game. Shortly after we finished eating, we asked Mom if we could go outside and meet the kids we saw playing and see if we could start making some new neighborhood friends. Mom told us it was alright but just to be back before it gets too dark, so that should give about 2 hours we can be out.

Me and Jacob walked along the side of our house when we notice that the kids were all playing in a common yard behind/between/in the middle of the back yards of about 9 houses. Once we reached the common yard we were startled to see a screaming naked boy just run right past us.

"They're after me!" he yells, giggling.

About 4 seconds later four more boys go bounding past us as we stand quiet in shock. Two of the four other boys were also naked. The third boy was in his underwear, while the fourth boy was clothed in some loose shorts and a tank top, but barefoot. So that was three fully naked boys, one just in some skimpy white briefs, and one barefoot. There was one girl with them, but she was fully dressed. She was my age and wearing a breezey white sun dress. She was holding a teddy bear up to her chest and I was surprised by just how incredibly busty she was for her age. She looked at me shyly from behind the teddy bear, her eyes peeking out from above its head with a blush. Did she have a crush on me or something?

All but one boy keeps running, as the one in his underwear stops.

"Hi guys! You must be new here. Did you just move into the new house they just finished?" He asks.

"Yeah, we just got here today, though the movers already got everything set up and unpacked," I explained. "But why were those 3 boys naked??"

"Bah, we were just playing a game. With how warm it is, those three like to be naked. In this town, boys are are allowed to be naked just about everywhere. My name is Jon, by the way," the underwear-clad boy explained. "Want to play tag with us?"

"Sure, why not," I said with a shrug. "But who's that girl?"

Jon glanced at the busty girl, as if he suddenly remembered she was there. "Oh! That's my sister, Macey. Sorry, she's really shy. But she'll open up to you soon. I think she definitely likes you. Isn't that right, Macey?"

Macey responded by blushing and pulling the teddy bear up over her pretty face. Doing so lets me look down at her deep cleavage, barely contained by her sun dress and looking even larger due to how short and petite she is. I feel my penis get hard in my shorts at the sight of it.

We played tag with them for about an hour and a half. A few times I was distracted by the flopping penises.

As I chase after Jon while I'm it, I dive for him and accidentally grab onto his briefs. As I fall to the grass, Jon's briefs go with him, tripping him up and straight out of his little tighty-wighties. Naked, the boy stands up and I'm a bit surprised at how tiny his penis is. But he doesn't seem mad or embarrassed, just annoyed at what to him is a minor inconvenience.

Macey laughs, though I can't tell if it's from her brother's nudity or his fall. I felt a tingling from the sound of her cute laughter, especially since she lowered her teddy bear for a better view of her cute face and cleavage as she laughed.

Jon put his briefs back on and we continued like nothing happened, but the entire time, I felt like Macey kept looking at my shorts-clad groin. After the hour and half was up, Jacob and I said our goodbyes and headed back home.

"Mom, we saw some boys running outside naked. They said they're allowed to be naked just about anywhere," I told her.

"Yes boys, that is true. I knew about this but I didn't feel it was a big deal. The only places in town boys can't go naked are the court house at any time and any government building if you're doing anything more then visiting to say hi. In either instance you must dress formally. In restaurants you either have to wear at least underwear or bring yourself a towel to sit on. You boys never have to go naked if you don't want to but I'm not going to stop you if you do. You can even go to school naked too, but like a restaurant, at least bring a towel with you to sit on. Though I hear not many go to school naked. But for now boys, it's time for dinner, then head up for your bad and bed. We can talk more about it in the morning, if you want," Mom happily explained.

"Will you ever want to go naked?" Jacob asked me

"I don't really know... I've never gone anywhere but the bathroom or our bedroom before. Plus I never even thought about it before, so for now
I'm going to have to say no," I told Jacob.

"I'm totally going naked starting tomorrow!" exclaimed Jacob.

How typical for my younger brother. He was always one to throw caution to the wind and jump in for the chance to try something new. We had never really seen each other naked very much, even though we shared a beroom. My Mom, Jacob, and I have always been pretty modest, though for no real reason. I sincerely doubt Jacob will go completely naked right away but I guess we'll find out in the morning.

I admit I do have ideas of what everyone looks like beyond their basic descriptions. As an example, I imagine Jon and Macey black. I wanted the descriptions in the first post to be a good spot to go if one needs a reminder while names are being said. But what they look like is something I only have vague mental images of. I have no solid idea of what each character looks like beyond basic things that my brain imagines up but does not settle on. Jon and Macey very well could be white and I did not write them to be black but black is how my brain has decided to imagine them and I am unsure why.

I am trying to keep the character's ages a bit vague. They are either in middle school or high school, and I have not decided which. I picture what age they look as ambiguous in my head. I find this helps me write them. You will find the cast has several behaviors and personality traits which could easily slot them into either middle or high school. I believe the most obvious case for middle school is Macey's constant carrying of a teddy bear and Jon's willingness to hang out with the tykes of the neighborhood. But a jock, track team, and popular it girl who will appear later are more indicative of high school.

While I don't have any particular time period in mind, I seem to be subconsciously basing it around the early 2000s.

Kids are playing outside with their neighbors akin to the 90s. While the brothers are described as playing shooters, they could very well be playing Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64. I suppose you could say this is in the 2000s, but in a rural area where tech and culture has not caught up from the 90s. But I am not deliberately writing any particular time period. If anything, the culture and tech level is a bit timeless, albeit not for any deliberate reason on my part.

You know, the more I say all this, the more I realize how much of this story is being written based on vibes and gut instinct rather than rational thought and careful planning. Should I be concerned about myself for that?

Given the premise, a ‘place in time’ isn’t really essential.
I do personally love the 90’s/early 00’s as a time setting for pure nostalgia on my end.

Are naked punishments given to older boys who normally would not run around naked?
