I know after swimming most of the people I seen covered but I saw a few. Did you see what was under the hands?

No, it definitely happens. I've done it myself and a lot of people I've seen have done it. It's a very natural response.

I agree it definitely happens. I've done it myself, I've seen boys do it, and I've seen girls do it. I've seen and done it as a panicked reaction to being suddenly caught naked, as a slower response to a growing feeling of shyness after already being seen for a short time, and as a pre-emptive way of covering up when knowingly having to get naked around others.

I did this as a kid. I first became aware of it in 1995 when the movie Now and Then came out. My mom pointed out that scene as a way to say see boys always go naked and that I covered myself like that sometimes too.

I have also seen examples of this, but not done so myself.

One example of note I remember is in a male swimming pool shower. Two men were showering naked in the male showers. As I walked in, so did two girls with their father. They were aged around 8 to 10 years, but one was quite tall for her age. The men both looked shocked, covered their dicks and then walked out embarrassed.

Another incident was at a water park in Germany. I was in the male showers and there were a few people (boys and men) showering naked and a few in swimwear. A father walked in with his daughter (aged about 11 or 12). She looked in to the shower and said to her father 'no', indicating she didn't want to go in the male shower. Her father didn't listen and walked in. She had to follow and it became obvious why she didn't want to when she took off her towel as she was completely naked. She covered her privates and walked up to a shower head. She stood there for about 5 mins as her father washed her hair. During this time, she didn't take her hands off her privates or look anywhere except the floor in front of her. When she was finished, she walked out whilst looking down and continuing to cover up.

I saw her butt, as did the whole room. She covered her pussy with both hands but was so close to the wall it was impossible to see her breasts apart from when she walked up to the shower and away from the shower. Her butt was visible the whole time though.
