So this is not my own experience but I suppose it counts as a embarrassed nude moment

In primary school. We had swimming lessons and in the changing room was the large open area then a side area with 3 showers and 3 toilet stalls. Most boys showered some boys nude

This happened in the final year of primary so around 11ish. My friend was always rather shy. Quite openly in fact he always told how he's mastered to hide with a towel.

One time. I think it was just a few In the room. Not all of us. And he just went fully nude into the shower saying something like 'do not look at me' or something. I did turn and see everything then turned out of respect. Then he walked back to the stall to change. I wonder why he had a 10 second confidence boost to shower publically nude?

I felt the same way during my first naked gang shower at Boy Scout summer camp. Six Scouts at a time told to go shower because we all "stunk" according to our Assistant Scoutmaster. At age 13 definitely didn't want to go naked with 5 other guys, even though 2 of them had seen me momentarily naked in our cabin.

But there was an upside to the deal. We were led down to the camp shower blocks by Robbie H. He was the JASM and was told by his Dad that "As long as you're here, Robbie, take off your swimsuit & shirt and shower with the boys." David and I were quite interested in seeing 17-year-old Robbie H. naked. This kind of mitigated my uncomfortable shy feelings. Not to mention Robbie seemed uncomfortable having to be naked in front of us younger Scouts whom he was supposed to be leading.

So how did Robbie deal with the clash between him needing to be in charge of you and his embarrassment at being naked in front of you? How did you younger boys react? Did it make it better because if he could do it, then so could you or did it make it worse because he was so much bigger than all of you and it made that difference stand out?

A very similar thing happened to me where a shy friend suddenly went fully nude in a situation like that. From my experience, an explanation could be that he’d always wanted to try being fully nude, but didn’t want the attention of a large group. Seeing as he built up a reputation as a shy boy, there would be a lot of eyes on him. So when he there was only a small group in the changing room, he took the opportunity. You guys were the lucky few who got to witness it.

When I was around 11 and just starting to get interested in being nude around other people, I decided some people were “worthy” of seeing me naked. I’m not sure how I figured who was who, but it was usually people who were nice to me, or weren’t likely to gossip or spread rumours (which was very common at my school).

Maybe your friend considered you “worthy” too. Did you get a good look at what he was hiding down there?

Oh, we could all tell that Robbie was pissed-off at the situation. Mr. H., his Dad, our Assistant Scoutmaster, told him just before we left the campsite that he expected Robbie to join us in the shower block. Robbie tried to argue his way out of it but Mr. H. wasn't having it. Mr. H. just said, "You're down there anyway and there is room in the block, no reason not to get it over with now." There was also a rumor that Robbie still got spanked even at his age for any willful disobedience. Mr. H. was a tough Navy veteran that you didn't want to argue with. So, a potential spanking just added to the excitement of Robbie protesting to his Dad that he would shower later on.

My shyness melted away at the prospect of seeing this tall, good looking older teen undressed. We all brought along clean clothes to change into afterwards. We were wearing swimsuits on the way to the waterfront. Robbie was unprepared since him joining us was a last-minute development. There was a wooden deck outside the concrete shower block. We were told to strip naked right there at the waterfront since it was (supposedly) male only during the week. Then walk over and into the block containing about 7 nozzles.

As we were all stripping, Robbie was quite aware that he was now the 'main attraction' among the rest of us 12-13-year-olds. We were not very adept at concealing our interest. What surprised me the most was that I imagined Robbie's penis to be much larger than it actually was. It seemed relatively small to me, nestled in a brown pubic bush. Definitely circumcised. When we were all naked he just said, "Let's go guys." He was still trying to exert authority even though naked in front of us his charges.

Nothing happened; we showered and tried to pretend we weren't staring at Robbie. Unlike in many stories, I don't recall any of us getting erections. Life at camp went on and Robbie was still in charge, second only to his Dad. But it had an effect---Robbie's tone when telling any of us to say, "sweep out the cabin," was a bit softer and less authoritative for the rest of the time there. At least that was my perception. And we did wonder what Mr. H. would have done if Robbie had disobeyed him, given the spanking rumors we had heard.
