As Blondie says, whenever this site (and similar) goes down temporarily -- instant dread
Sadly too many of these sort of places have gone over the years, making this wonderful site so precious to so many of us.
It would be genuinely upsetting to loose contact with everyone and their stories if the worst was to happen. Many of the members here have been familiar names, a part of my life, for the best part of 20 years! Over that time I have read some incredible stories, both fiction and true accounts, some of which I can happily go back to again and again, never losing the enjoyment.
But some stories have been lost for good. Stories I absolutely loved and wish I had saved and could read again. Some writers make the jump to new sites when, inevitably, one goes down, but some writers, familiar names, are lost also.
I've been thinking and wonder if there's a way to keep the group together if this site were to be lost as well. I feel like this really is the last bastion of stripping and humiliation stories specifically, the last in a long lineage. There is, to my knowledge, nothing else quite like it. If we were to lose this site, I feel like that might just be it. A very sad and sobering thought.
I am in contact with various members privately through email, which is at least something, but there's nothing like the group for encouraging writing and sharing stories.
I don't know how to do it, but I know that the old WebbApps boards were backed up. Does anybody know if this site is backed up as well?

Anyway, for now all is well, and like Mars357, I am extremely happy to see this site back up and running! Long may it continue
