Stripping Cinnamon Carter In Mission Impossible

Has anyone seen Mission Impossible, Season 3, Episode 13, called The Exchange? Cinnamon Carter gets caught stealing information as a spy and undergoes some torture in this episode. It starts with humiliation by making her undress in the presence of the men while closely supervised by a towering female guard. Of course, being 1960’s TV we don’t directly see her undress but she’s clearly taking off her clothes as shown by her shadow on the wall. Viewers do see her remove her blouse with the involvement of the female guard and exposing her bra straps then the camera shifts to show her taking off her skirt as the men discuss her plight while watching her strip. After her skirt comes off, her silhouette on the wall shows her hands come up to her waist as if to take off her underwear then the camera shifts to a close up of one of the men’s ogling eyes clearly indicating that she’s removed her panty. It’s not surprising that humiliation of a captured spy by forcing her to stand naked would be part of the interrogation ritual. How humiliating for Cinnamon, forced to remove her panty as her male captors watch!!!

Seeing Cinnamon wrapped in a towel in the Pilot is my most memorable scene. Her implied stripping in front of the two bound guards in that bedroom is great.

The stripping of her clothes in The Exchange is even better. But there’s another Mission Impossible scene that better than this one. In Season 4, Episode 1, called The Code, Lynn, played by the beautiful Alexandra Hay, is stripped of all her clothes by a group of leering soldiers searching for microdots. When they fail to find the microdots in her clothing, the sergeant orders “continue the search” which can only mean a search of her naked body and body cavities. I’ll post a description of that one separately as another topic. These episodes are both on line by the way and you can see them.

I never actually watched the show, but based on your description, I'm pretty sure I've seen that scene from "The Exchange" before. Definitely seems a bit risque for 60's television.

Might be worth a rewatch to jog my memory! I imagine it would have made a big impact on me if I'd seen it as a kid/teen, without seeking out or expecting that type of thing.
