A victim keeps noticing random things changing. Like they arrive at school or a school club and suddenly it's always been true that there's a uniform and it's a little risqué -- and there are photos with the new uniform in them, photos she remembers being in, but now she's wearing the new uniform and not the boring old modest one. Or their friend starts talking about that amusing time they ended up getting caught skinny dipping, and totally has the text messages of them talking about it back in the day. Or they get home and their casual clothes are different, despite being old with familiar stains and rips and the like.

And they're the only ones who notices anything's different, everyone else remembers it always having been this new way. And there are side effects -- they're now "that kid who got caught skinny dipping" as part of their personal history, which means they're also the kind of kid that goes skinny dipping often enough to get caught now and then or the kind of kid that would wear a risque uniform and be perfectly fine with it in photos.

Something like a time traveler is messing with them, or a wish went seriously wrong and is rewriting history so it matches the new reality, or their new stepmom is a succubus / nymph / what have you and magic has a really weird concept of "inheritance."

Like

• Time travelers are intentionally manipulating things becuase their future is a fixed point in time, but their background isn't. So if they say, make them more liberated, or change their background so they're a lot more friendly to certain niche groups, or go back in time to generate blackmail material that will retroactively become true...

• A friend's wish was seriously misguided or badly phrased, and now reality is slowly rewriting itself around whatever the wish is doing (e.g. "I wish everyone could see how beautiful they are" => "They're so comfortable not wearing clothes that everyone's seen them naked a few times."

• New Stepmom is a reality warper -- mage, succubus, nymph, etc -- and in trying to make a perfect household for her new husband, it's bleeding out to everyone else in the house / neighborhood as things try and match "normal" with "fantasy newlywed life." Whoops!

• New stepsister is a reality warper, and is enjoying having a adorable sibling they can do whatever they want with and they can't even run away no matter how crazy reality becomes. Crying to Stepmom's useless, cause she's doing the same thing to Dad and thinks it's all a good learning experience for the both of them.

I remember seeing footage of a guy being rescued from a flood where he was holding on to something at the base of a bridge, with trou around his ankles (force of the water) I think the fire brigade used the truck ladder to go above and lowered a fire fighter to pull him up. I'm sure at the time he didn't care, but perhaps in the hours and weeks afterwards
