Re: What age did you stop being bathed by caregivers?
I was bathed until I was 7 by my mom to make sure "everything" got washed and cleaned. She supervised my baths until I was 9 to make sure I was doing a good job. I remember hating to stop whatever I was doing outside or playing inside to take a bath. I shared the bath with my older brother until he was probably 9, which would have made me 5. Then I had to share the bath with my younger sister until I was 9, which would have made her 5 or 6. I didn't think it was fair that as a boy I had to share with my little sister. My best friend told me he took showers and I can remember begging to be allowed to shower by myself until I was 11.
