I’ve had way worse experiences than this but I thought this would be a funny quick one to share, as well as a pretty formative one lol.

It was either the summer I was going into middle school or fifth grade. I went to the beach with my siblings and folks, and a big group of cousins/aunts/uncles etc.

I believe this was just a day trip, or maybe the last day of a vacation, because it was later in the day and about to head home.

We were in a rush to get on the road, and a lot of people were starting to leave the beach so the changing rooms were all packed.

So it was just kind of decided without talking that the older ones would go and try to get in at the changing station while the younger ones would would get changed in the parking lot by the open hatch of one of the mini vans, and my mom and the aunts would kind of “block” us from view.

I have a big family, with a wide age range, and I’m one of the younger ones… in the group at the beach I had like three cousins who were 0-2 years older than me, and then a boy and girl cousin 2 and 3 years younger, and a cousin who was basically a toddler.

I was just kind of automatically tagged in with the “little kids” despite having a cousin there who was literally my age and shorter in height lol.

I still really wasn’t at all shy being naked around my mom or even my immediate family until a bit into puberty. I hadn’t hit puberty (and I ended up being a very late bloomer), but I was very tall so I did feel very silly being classed with my younger cousins, even as my cousins who were around the same age immediately went to get changed with the “big kids”.

I was also always teased a little by family for being a bit chubby (looking back I really wasn’t, I was just unfortunate in that most of my family was very skinny), so it was a bit embarrassing to know I was going to be somewhat “on display”…

If it was just my mom and my family, I wouldn’t have thought about it twice. It was still not uncommon at all for me to get changed like this at the beach/water parks. So I didn’t argue or really even care that much, behind just a vague feeling of embarrassment and timidity…

So I got changed, somewhat awkwardly in front of my mom and three aunts.

However, I noticed pretty quickly, slightly confused, that I was “different” from my two male cousins.

This had happened to me one other time in a swim class, and I had been somewhat shocked/freaked out by seeing my peers naked because what they had between their legs just looked so foreign to what I had lol.

But both of my male cousins, including the one who was way, way younger than me, were much bigger than me in size lol.

The aunts and my mom were also pretty shocked by the difference and openly talked about in front of me, including an aunt who was a nurse who had me come over to her so she could get a better look… there was no cruelty at all, but I did get a real feeling of kind of second hand embarrassment for me, including from my mother, as well as just a genuine, hushed concern lol…

My mom said that she had always felt like I was very small compared to my brother at that age but she hadn’t realized the extent until she saw me side by side with others lol. They made much of the fact of how much bigger the youngest cousin was than me.

The two cousins who were both only a couple years younger than me were of course listening in and obvious curious about the very obvious difference and the nature of the conservation but fortuantately none of us totally grasped how much of potential for mockery this had for me yet lol.

The only other vivid memory I have from that is because of their conversation/concern, I ended up standing buck naked in front of them for way longer than had I just been getting changed as normal, and long after the two cousins closer to me in age had already gotten changed. Because they were talking they also didn’t do a very good job of blocking the view. I could tell that people were innocently noticing me standing there in front of them. And I do vividly remember a group of 20 something girls walking by and actively pointing me out and giggling in kind of a “aw, how cute” sort of way lol.

The aunts and my mom did talk about getting me “checked out”. My mom did in fact make an appointment with the family doc after that, and I was, in fact, diagnosed with a micropenis lol… I was too clueless to be more than mildly embarrassed/emasculated at the time, that came later lol

I no longer technically have a micropenis as I believe that is 3.5. I’m (just barely lol) four inches hard now and still very tiny when soft (kind of like an acorn)… I have mixed feelings about that. It’s caused some embarrassment/difficulty during sex so it might be awkward if it was smaller, but I am really curious how small it would have stayed lol.
- I’ve only really had two long term partners and a couple “experiences” outside that, I’ve noticed surprise/disapointment and it’s come up in conversations but nothing too crazy… I have a had a few embarrassing scenarios with partners and my first girlfriend in college actually unintentionally have a lot of sph to me lol. I remember that my aunt kind of tried to cover her with a towel to give her a bit more privacy than us, but it wasn’t like we would have looked anyway.

I don’t really remember if she was embarrassed at all, but I know she got dressed very quickly, and was just kind of hanging around clothed as my aunts discussed me lol. I do remember the older of the two male cousins who was with me was not embarrassed at all, which I think just in turn made me more anxious once everybody’s focus turned to me like something was “wrong” lol.

I don’t think I felt particularly embarrassed by being naked in front of her, I think my embarrassment extended a little bit to everybody except my mom, and was also partly caused by the fact that I was the oldest. I felt a little childish considering the fact that the cousin who was my age was just automatically not included in this younger group and I was lol. I really wasn’t bothered by being nude around my immediate family for a long time so this scenario wasn’t completely foreign to me even though maybe I was a little bit old to feel that way, but I think I was probably kind of treated than I was by a lot of my family for different reasons, and acted that way in some. So you were roughly 11-12 and your girl cousin was 9 or 10? In your situation I definitely would have had a pit in my stomach leading up to this. That being said I was always the oldest cousin in my family and instead orchestrated situations like this making the same type of excuse that they were still little kids as if them being prepubescent meant they couldn’t be embarrassed being seen exposed by the opposite sex. My mom made me change at the beach also. I was def embarrassed but dealt with it. To put it in perspective I am in my 30s and top out at 4.5 if I am rock solid.
