Ava walked in to see Harold sitting at the TV, flipping channels as usual. She sat on his lap like she enjoyed doing and told him about being at the neighbor’s home and trying out the naturist lifestyle.

Harold laughed. “So, you go down there to read them the riot act for being naked in their back yard and then you decide to join them?”

“Splendid. Just ask them to be dressed,” Harold replied. I don’t fancy naked company."

At the rest of being pedantic, I must once again remind everyone that it's 'naturist.'
Naturalist is either someone who studies nature, or someone who rejects the supernatural (what we used to call a materialist before that started meaning people deriving their value from their possessions).
Don't get me wrong, I would love if we took the term naturalist back from them, but....

Material is never related or was used widely by the community to which you're referring materialist is a scientific term in referring to looking at certain things in the universe and I'm trying to keep it super simple here but no it never had anything to do with nudity or how certain people that like to be naked relate to Nature and materialist and materialism are two entirely different concepts and have never been a swip
swapped or conflated

Conclusion.

Ava had developed a routine for being naked in her house. She usually chose the mornings after Harold had left for work and Robert was off to school. She could enjoy the day being clothes free and getting the housework done at the same time.

She had just exited the shower and had a towel wrapped around her head. Below that she was totally nude. In a moment of sheer mental disconnect, she heard the mailman run and following years of habit, she walked out onto the porch to retrieve it, totally forgetting that she was bare.

“I bet Harold loves that idea,” Shelly laughed.

“He did seem to brighten up when I told him I would be wandering about the house naked.”

“My heavens, I have no idea. Harold and Robert will not be home for hours. I may have to call a locksmith.”

Shelly and Ava talked while they were waiting on the man to arrive. “I would never have the nerve to undress in front of anyone,” Shelly remarked.

“Its’s not as hard as you think. Admittedly, it is not for everyone, but once you do try it and get over the original shyness, it’s quite liberating.”

Shelly was a year or two younger than Ava, with short brown hair and pleasant face and nice figure. The phone rang and Shelly rose to answer it while Ava finished the tea that Shelly had provided.

“He’s on his way. He seems to think he can pick it just fine,” Shelly remarked. When Ava looked up Shelly was stark naked.

“Well, look at you. Bravo girl,” Ava beamed. “I love that cute little landing strip you have down there.”

Shelly laughed and told her that she keeps it trimmed that way.

Gina and George regularly hosted the meetings at their house. Robert and Summer became a real item and were rarely seen apart. Harold was the lone holdout in the group.
