Plot Devices to Get Boys Naked

I usually like the more light-hearted skinny-dipping-clothes-stolen trope, or the lost bathing suit at the beach. My favorite trope is when a character is stuck naked in public and has to make their way home. Basically Numbah 1 in that episode had a big impact on me. Unfortunately I haven’t found that scenario in any piece of writing or artwork in like twenty years.

I also enjoy a bully involved situation, though I don’t like it when the vibe gets too cruel. Clothing destruction is fun too.

Yes, especially when the authority figure is tricked into making the boy (or girl in the mirror universe ) go naked for some reason.

Of course... girls can be very persuasive convincing adults of the many benefits of forced nudity for boys

If I’m going for titillation over embarrassment, I usually have a pretty copy past ‘caught masturbating’ method, usually a sister (don’t ask me why, I don’t even have a sister)

Sisters are good antagonists. They live with you. They already know most of your secrets. They are there constantly and you cannot escape them.

I prefer when boys have to get naked because authority figures order them to (parents, teachers) or scenarios where mandatory nudity for boys is "institutionalized' ...
Stories that require boys to be really dumb so they can be tricked take too much suspension of disbelief to accept for me (although dumb boys certainly exist )

I guess this shows the meaning of "Different Strokes for Different Folks."

One of the criticisms of my works is "too much windup and no pitch." I spend a lot of time setting the stage because I want to make the story as realistic as possible. To me, "It's the law," cuts to the chase too quickly. The thrill of the chase is missing.

Being overpowered also lacks an element for me. Being overpowered is one thing; surrendering is another. It's the difference between being a slave and a thrall. A slave is held in physical restraints. A thrall is under a spell and his body is working under someone else's command. Teasing and denial come to mind.

On the other hand, I like to write up interesting scenarios where girls outsmart boys. In today's world, this is also too easy: girls always have their phones with them and occasionally a boy will be caught "rubbing one out." If it is serendipitous, it lacks suspense. I like it when catching a boy in the act requires planning.

All of this is MY personal OPINION. It's my preferences. I am glad I asked the question. It's nice to see what other people are thinking.

Don't get me wrong, if the end result is a naked and humiliated boy in front of girls, any plot device is good to me. It's like choosing a favorite pizza, even my least favorite ones taste great

I'd write more ENM but I feel like the kinds of scenarios I enjoy is already being covered, where it's lacking in ENF. Plus my last chapter of It's Rude to Point didn't really get much praise.

EXcuSE ME?! 68,220 views so far and 44 comments - all positive (that number does not count your kind replies to readers' posts) on that story and you call that not much praise??? (Just messing with you, my friend.) BTW, I really did count all the replies, and they were indeed all positive.

I am sure there are many, many authors here that wish they could live in such high altitudes of praise. It was (still is) a GREAT story to read containing interesting scenarios, wonderful characters and a couple of twists and turns.

It is easy to get tunnel vision when, as authors, we quite frequently tend to compare our latest work with past successes hoping the response is higher than the last story. Trust me, for this board that contains a huge number of unregistered guests that can't post a reply, the numbers for this story are quite good. Imagine all those unregistered guests in the 68,220 views that read the story and loved it but were too lazy to become a member to reply. I am sure there were a lot of them as your writing - both ENF and ENM - is superb!!!

I normally do not have adults in my stories at all. Mostly they merely look the other way.

However, I do have one story where a mom brings her son and daughter to the mom's college friend's houses with pool. The friend also has a daughter. The girls are the same age and size. The visitors don't have bathing suits, so the visiting girl borrows one from the host girl. Of course, there is no suit available for the boy to wear and he has to skinny dip.
