Today is the most normal the site has been for me in a long time.

I've been able to get on every time I've tried. Hopefully the worst is over, fingers crossed.

I am constantly getting "too many requests" and "403" messages.

Ah I'm sorry to hear that. I was hoping things were on the mend but clearly not.

I've always used the Opera browser for this site (private mode). For some reason, now I can only connect if I use the built-in VPN. It slows it down a little, but at least I can connect. No issues with other browsers right now.

Too many of these types of sites have gone down over the years, so I tend to worry it will happen here when we have issues like we've been experiencing. Fingers crossed!

I just came back for an edit. I spoke to soon—I just got a "Bad gateway" (error code 502). It's better, but we're not completely out of the woods.

Well at least I'm not alone. And at least we have VPNs that work.

Is the site still getting DDOS attacks?

I wonder if the fix is causing all the new problems.

I keep getting
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access this resource.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

or getting an different error when try to refresh that says I have tried to many times, this site is still broken

The site is currently not actively under attack, the attacker does seem to be trying it occasionally but is giving up when they see it's not working.

And yes, I imagine the fixes are the cause for these new errors, I'll start undoing them after the attacker moves on from there.

I have tried Opera like it was mentioned above, and it only works for me if I set the VPN to Europe, then I can access the site with no problem, if i do it for the USA like my normal browser which is firefox, does not work at all I get 403 forbidden eorror, or mostly to many request, not sure why it working without isssue if I get my connection to Europe, but I figured I would mention this.

Everything is working for right now, event he board index link, which does not work if i try to access it normally.

Now that you mention it, it's possible because the attack is coming from Brazil, Russia and the US (probably where the bot farms are), so maybe the DDoS protection assumes that you're a bot?
