back in the day in rural region's parents had a way of punishing their children by stripping them naked and they had to hold ears while standing.

i used to deliver milk from our home to another home while delivering milk a aunty asked me to come inside her home firstly i was not sure what to do but i went in anyway than she PRESENTED HER 2 SONS FULLY COMPLETELY NAKED STANDING IN THEIR BACKYARD i didn't know what to say then she said that they broke a pot while playing with their sister i was not sure what to say i just left that house and didn't looked back

A guy I knew in college claimed that "naked time" in front of the family for an hour or so was a punishment his parents used on him up until age 14. After that they considered him to be "too old" to be naked around their house, so they switched to "groundings" instead. He had two sisters, one younger & one older so they would have seen him naked up to that age.

Do you have any idea whether that just involved them doing whatever they would normally be doing, only naked? Or did they have to stand an be seen, or something?

I get the concept of this, but thinking back on how I hung around the house in briefs and maybe a shirt up to nearly age 12, having to be naked really wouldn't have been particularly traumatic unless we had company or I had been made to assume a particularly embarrassing pose.

I was only in that college for one year, until I dropped out & went to a medical school learn my current occupation (Radiologist).

At the time, I was a daily masturbator, and my roommate caught me at it several times. It was then that he told me the stories of his 'naked time' punishments. He had to be naked at home in front of his parents & sisters, sitting in their livingroom and then helping to set up the dinner table and bring out the food. He claimed that he never became erect during these naked times.

Mark was Catholic and stated that he considered my daily jack-off habit to be sinful and that I should attempt to control my 'lust.'

How did that usually go? Was this a walking-in-on-you-with-it-whipped-out out kind of thing, or more like him waking up to see your sheets moving?

The semester I tried to live in a dorm, trying to work out how to accommodate masturbatory urges when I was too prudish to discuss it with my roommate was quite troublesome -- he never seemed to get horny at all and spent almost as much time in the room as I did. That led to some spectacular wet dreams that were annoying to clean up after given the communal bathrooms, but those didn't really provide much relief.

If there wasn't any special attention called to what was going on, I can imagine that wouldn't have been too bad especially if it started well before his tweens, by the time it might otherwise have been a problem it may well have felt "routine". Especially if it was couched in that flavor of Catholicism your comment suggests.

Well, the first time Mark caught me he was supposed to be in class, but the professor had called in sick. So he came back to the room & I was in my bunk bed under the covers doing it. He didn't leave just stood there and said that what I was doing was sinful. But he kind of laughed when he said that. It was pretty obvious that he didn't take the Catholic Church's stance on masturbation very seriously.
