Locker room mix up

I was 20 yrs old when I joined a local gym. I started going 4 times a week after work and was doing really good. Well, the store next door to the gym closed and the gym owner bought the space to expand his gym. This was late 70's so the gyms back then were strictly men only, but now with the addition he was able to add a woman's locker room, pool, sauna, and steam room. But the only way to access that area was through the new locker room. So, they came up with a guy's girl's switch locker rooms every other day so both genders could use these new facilities. This was done by simply putting up temporary men's and woman's room signs that were just left standing up against the wall next to each door.

A few months after starting at the gym I got laid off from my job. I started getting up and going to the gym in the morning when I knew it was less crowded. One day I was walking back to the locker room when I spotted the signs outside the doors and got a naughty idea. I switched the men's and ladies' locker room signs. I went into the same locker room where I left my clothes and stripped down to my bikini briefs and went into the sauna room. I watched through the window waiting for my chance. At first, I thought I was just going to watch the woman change through the window but then was afraid I'd scare them and I'd get in trouble. So, I did the next best thing, I waited until the two women walked in and sat down on the benches in front of the lockers and I just opened the door and walked out into the center of the locker room in just my bikini briefs.

The women were startled and kept trying to tell me I was in the wrong locker room all the while trying not to stare at my near naked body. I assured them that they were in the wrong locker room and walked over and opened my locker showing them my clothes were in it. They kept apologizing saying they didn't know the signs were wrong. The ladies gathered up their bags and quickly made a run for the door; they were more embarrassed seeing me in my underwear then I was being seen. I bet they had a nice story to tell their friends.
