Internship as a teen

In our school it was tradition that you do a 3 week internships, one in grade 8 and one in grade 9. The idea was to give the kids a glimpse into the work live or even into possible careers.

At that time I wanted to work with kids as a career, so I got myself an internship with our local foster home. At the time they had about a 100 kids, boys aged 6 to 14 and girls 6 to 17. Boys over 14 lived in a separate building in a different part of town. On account of keeping them away from the girls, as I was informed.

My first week was pretty uneventful. We weren't supposed to work more then 6 hours plus a 1 hour lunch break. When I started at 8am most kids where already in school. Most of them I didn't see for more then an hour or two after they were back from school. During that week I tried to make myself useful by helping the staff with odd jobs and helping the kids with their homework. I also kept two kids company, that where sick and didn't go to school. A girl aged 11 and a 9 year old boy. I mostly played card games with them or read to them from a book until I talked the nurse into give me a little crash course. She taught me how to give a sponge bath, change sheets and even take temperatures. As you can imagine I was particularly interested when she showed me how to keep a boys penis clean. Most boys aren't circumcised where I live and she explained to me how important it is to pull back the foreskin and clean under it. She let me practice with the kids, under her supervision of course and that meant I got to see them naked. They didn't seem to mind at all.

After an ridiculous amount of paperwork, including getting a physical by a government doctor, I was allowed to work the late shift for the second week. That meant I got to see a lot more of the kids and still was around when it was time for them to get ready for bed. The kids lived in groups of 10-12 kids, roughly separated by age. Until age 11 or 12 boys and girls where in the same groups, after that they were separated by gender. The first couple of days I helped with a group of 9 to 10 year olds. The most interesting part was when I accompanied them to the washrooms or showers in the evening. The kids got at least two showers a week and a bath on Saturdays, the other nights they washed up over the sink. I didn't have much to do, the kids where old enough to wash themselves and usually helped each other out. Actually it was pretty common that they washed each other.

One night I noticed that it was the older boys turn in the washroom, right after my group and decided to try my luck and stick around. I expected to be kicked out immediately, but learned a great lesson for life. If you look confident and act like you belong, you can get away with a lot. I noticed that one of the boys had his arm in a cask. So I just grabbed him and declared I would help him. The boy looked rather embarrassed, he was almost my age, but didn't protest. Neither did the staff member that was responsible for that group. I guess they assumed someone asked me to do it. It probably helped that the kids privacy wasn't a major concern in general, so they where somewhat used to it. So I undressed and the washed him from head to toe. Of course the boy got a huge erection when I started to wash his genitals. He got quite red and saw a rather amused look on their caregivers face, but I pretended not to notice. For the rest of my internship I made it my special project to help that boy and of course I took every chance I got to get a good look at the other boys.

I returned there the next year and this time managed to get myself a shift on a Saturday when everyone got there weekly bath, also two days at the older boys facility. I didn't get to see them naked unfortunately

If his arm was in a cast, he may have been grateful for your help. It is certainly important for uncircumcised males to retract & clean the area covered by the foreskin, as smegma can build up there causing potential phimosis. We circed guys don't have to worry about that particular problem.

You described the boy in the cast getting a huge erection. How big do you think it was? He would be fourteen at the oldest.

Did the younger children shower naked together both sexes? Also, the way it is written implies that you also undressed before assisting the casted boy?
