As someone who has attended their fair share of Furry Conventions, there is a warning every fursuit owner either has shoved down their throat, or they have to learn the hard way.
If you overheat and pass out in fullbody costume, Paramedics are trained to cut you out if the suit asap, with little regard for damage done to both your $5k costume or your dignity. A good example is something like Anthrocon's Annual Booze Cruises. July heat in scorching Pittsburgh PA (The sizzling Steel City) and a cheap outdoor mid-say setting with cheap+strong drinks but water will cost you 6$ for a lunchbox proportioned bottle... a perfect recipe for heatstroke. Every year someone calls Paramedics, every year someone learns the lesson.
Normally the professional suits are paired with something like underarmor to keep a layer between your sweaty-oily-shedding body and your onesie worth more than a used sedan... but where's the fun in that for Sota
