Where I grew up, a "red rocket" was an animal's penis -- usually a dog's. I think the only time I heard it applied to a human penis was explicitly in the context of having sex "doggy style", in keeping with the animalistic context.
In my world the "family jewels" were very specifically the testicles. After all, they were in a pouch to protect them and you need them to have a family which made them very precious!Robert Brooks wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2026 9:56 am Something my aunt used to say that I thought sounded weird / cringey was ‘crown jewels’
Yes, and that was a more-or-less accurate description until perhaps age 12-13. After I began taking showers alone around age 9, that appellation sort of faded away or became less used.RaccoonBatteryStaple wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2026 1:22 amWas that "little" modifier there all the time? That's both cute and humiliating.NickTwisp wrote: Sat Apr 11, 2026 6:14 am My parents referred to it as "your little wee-wee" as a young child.
I should've remembered tally whacker because my little brother used that one all the time as a teen. Also I remembered "genetic jackhammer", a term made popular by Vince McMahon back in the day, and I remember "Sperm whale" and "Magnum" for guys trying to claim they had big dicks.LostBoy90 wrote: Sun Apr 12, 2026 3:54 am Great list!
